From ultra-liberals to ultra-conservatives, from neobolsheviks to neoimperalists, from monarchists to republicans - all joined their forces in a single move to show their desire to fight against the corrupt Putin's regime.

Dissident march in St. Petersburg attracted more than 10 thousand people: the main slogans were "Russia without Putin" and "We need different Russia".

United we stand.

Ah, the NatsBols. Never fail to put on a good show.

It's funny that they're one of the only opposition groups that's actually active, so all the do-gooder Westerns find themselves cheering on what are essentially socialists and nationalists.

Re-va-luc-iya!

Looks like you didn't really watch the videos attentively. The flags flying include those of Russian monarchists, Russian Orthodox movement, Russian liberals and even EU flag.

And the man talking is Garry Kasparov, leader of the liberal opposition.

Sick show.

Dissident march in St. Petersburg attracted more than 10 thousand people.

It's a BS.

No, I saw the old imperial flags, the EU flag and at one point I think even the flag of the Ukrainian SSR. But from what I can tell, and I admit I may be way off, Kasparov and liberals in general wield very little power or support. All the rallies, protests and other actions are usually organized by the Nats Bols, which is why I they're the central axis of whatever opposition, however diverse, exists.

Although I have to say the video is very well made. The music and the way it's edited really creates at atmosphere.

Kas'yanov, corrupted to the bottom ex-prime minister, as one of the opposition's leaders is an excellent idea!

The best chess player is the computer which won against him. And I bet this computer would do less damage to Russia if became president then Kasparov

Hey look guys. The old Russian government traditions where anyone who speaks out against the government risks a one way ticket to Siberia are still alive. Putin is trying to revive the old Russian empire and become another Stalin. Perhaps some of the people who attended this march are a little odd or extremist, but in a society where those who speak out against Putin risk comming up with a strange terminal illness or a sudden fatal 'accident', anyone who challenges this Stalin wannabe deserves a measure of respect!

P.S. Thank God I'm living here in America where I can say whatever I please about Putin without fear.

Bunch of nazis and idiots... of course switek would support them.
Amusing thing is that if these nuts got in power they would probably be ten times worse than many think putin is.

truth about high chess is all you need is good memory, all moves you can do, all the situations are limited you don't invent them just memorize and use.

Why would he want to do that? That would put his foreign bank account in danger.

Putin is just another corrupt politican playing the "Russia strong" card to please the population but in fact really takes interest in well-being of his clan and the clique he rules with. Just another mafia, like in other third world countries, no need to demonize him.

No doubt Putin is a politician, and like any politician, he does his share of questionnable bank dealings and secret handshakes. But when compared to the rest of the bloodsuckers and suck-ups out there, i'm glad he is control.

Yeltsin signed everything the west put in front of him hoping that would make him popular... it didn't really work and led to some very stupid things being signed.
They are far better off under Putin.
Funny how he has to do everything the west demands or he is Stalin...
the Wests current foriegn policy of regime change looks more like stalin than anything Putin has done in office.

You seem to be the only one here who actually see through this. This US "regime change" philosophy by US reminds of the "world revolution" concept by Trotsky.
