WTF are these toys doing in here? I thought that there is different forum for this (like reenactment/airsoft/paintball).

Nope I dominate the TOY department in the offtopic section!
But seriously, I've had like 5 or 6 of these threads so far, youve never seen any of them!?

You're improving your weathering technics, the color is better and so is the layout of the paint.

Finally, you got an MICH on someone. :)

I'm not sure if it's a MICH is it?
Anyways, I've had it for a long time but it was green, but since I pretty much only make desert figs and I'm getting really into painting my figs and stuff I decided to paint it tan, I think it turned out prerry good :D

Here's a couple pics of a SF guy I just finished, sorry for bad quality, I should have some nice outdoor shot tommorow! Consider this a preview! :P
Please comment on my weathering, this is my second attempt, My colors still arn't exactly right, but I think I did better on the M-4
Enjoy!
Sorry for poor pic quality, tommorows will be much better!

What is the name/type/make of that knife strapped to him? I know its based on a real knife because I saw it in a thread a month or two ago, but dont know anything about it.

Nice stuff. I have some questions and a suggestion.
What camera are you using, and do you shoot indoors much?
I ask becasue I was trying to shoot some miniatures the other night and ran into a problem where I couldn't get near and far figs in focus. I though about backing up and shootinjg from further away, but the lighting and colors go to hell in low light.
Suggestion: This fig has the dust cover on his M-4 open. It would be cool to pose a fig with the bolt locked back while he is changing mags.
Also, ever simulate muzzle blast or case ejections?
Good stuff man. Nice work, makes me wish I still had my painting kit up and running.

Another idea,
A buddy of mine made one of the funniest dioramas I've ever seen.
It was a group of WWII GIs hangin in some wrecked out bulding.
But when you look at them they're playing craps!
He cut apart an artillery crew for it.
Was hilarious, a real show winner.

Great ideas, but unfortunatly the littel guns arn't realistic uyp to the point to where the dust cover and charging handle can be moved, at least no these guns.
As for the muzzle flash, I've tried a couple different things, they never really look great.
My Camera is a Canon Powershot G5, I really am not an expert with it, thats why thosepics were soo bad. My outdoor photos are pretty good though
Well I'm on my way outside to take some killer photos with these guys, I hope you all enjoy when I get back

Good job, Spartan!
I thought I was the only kid on the block who played with 1/6 scale stuff!!
I've got an R. Lee Ermey figure. It's sweet! He swears! I have him holding a Barrett M82A (Pre-91 M82).
