I remember this clip being shown in a television program (don't remember which channel). The show was about an American citizen who was held as a hostage in a prison during the fighting in Panama or Nicaragua. Can't remember which country it was now, and the show talks about how he was rescued by Delta. Then they showed this exact same clip, talking about how SF operators train in DA.

This film was from a joint CAG/Ranger exercise done a couple years back, I believe. There is also a picture gallery here on MP.net of this exercise as well Also, notice how they're using manikins as opposed to paper targets, another hallmark of CAG practice. There was another video featuring an ODA doing some CQC practice, and they only used paper targets as opposed to manikins.
But that was some impressive stuff though...right after blowing open a door with a shotgun, they throw a flashbang at one of the manikins chest then charge in.

....The Delta Force, 160th Special Operations Aviation Group and AFSOC Spectre Gunship team had successfully rescued Kurt Muse from certain death at the hands of his Panamanian captors. In so doing they became the first American counterterrorist team ever to rescue an American hostage from enemy hands.....

I have a question, how do the walls stop the bullets from going through and possibly hitting a friendly?

they might be useing Frangible bullets, which apon hitting a hard object like walls, they break down into a fine dust, eliminating over-penetration.

Oh ok, then I'm not too sure then. I was basing my assumption from the still shots at the end of the videos from the exercise. Supposedly, they're "supposed" to be CAG guys with Rangers in some exercise. But thanks for the info. :)

Ok, so what are the walls made of to stop the bullets from going through and hitting possible friendlies? I'm just curious.

nothing, if its like most of that kind of ranges, its a house inside a building, every room has a "safe angle" at which you engage targets, so that there are no friendlies on the other side
or they are using simunition

There probably are no "safe angles", that would be too hard to keep track of. Depending on the setup, the entire thing will be surrounded by a berm (some are built inside old reinforced aircraft shelters for example). The cadre and graders usually walk on walkways on top of the walls, as there is no ceiling.
Of course this is only one of many possible setups, I'm sure Delta has some fancy **** that no one outside the unit knows about, for their multiple entry point takedowns and such.
As far as ammunition goes, they might very well use simunitions at some point in the training, but it always culminates with live fire takedowns.

I remember the original video, it was definitely live ammo.

Google around for shoothouses, Blackwater's website has a lot of detail on their shoothouse facilities. The walls are often hardened and armored to prevent penetration, and a lot of modern shoothouses have walls on rails to change the configuration of the room. Think logically, why would they shoot in a house where the rounds would go through? If it went through one wall, who knows where it will go or what else it will go through once it's passed that wall, ricochets are no fun.
