Those are amazing facts, however Shilo sucks! Also does your battalion wear the Commander-in-Chief unit commendation on your right breast pocket?
Yea.. Shilo is well.. yea lol
Yea, 2VP wears the CinC on the right breast pocket flap.

3RAR wear theirs (recieved for the units actions at the same Battle) above their right breast pocket.
We didn't have these types of citations untill recently and I imagine we wore ours in the same place as the Americans wear theirs because it was an American award. Do you know the reason why you wear yours on the shoulder?

Pretty sure (but not totally) that the breast is reserved for individual achievement.
On an aside, I had no idea that Australia and Canada fought in the same battle at (on?) Kapyong until I came to this site.
How's that for Nationalistic Tunnel Vision:oops:?
Individual awards go on the left, unit on the right.
Dunno why we wear the award on our sleeves, I think the members who were in Battalion when 2PPCLI first received the award from the American's wore theirs above the right breast pocket though.
