Hi there everyone. Im looking for some informed opinions on how effective low flying (under 30 feet) over water is at spoofing Radar Missiles. Whether they are fired from a ship or an intercepting fighter.

Thanks !

Sorry for posting in wrong forum earlier :bash:

well maybe i can start the debate as well..:slap:

"Proximity fuses can be a cause of grief to missileers as they hinder tracking of low level targets, often triggering off terrain, buildings or ship masts (and almost certainly represent the cause of most of the bomb damage sustained by Tripoli and Benghazi last April...). "

There's probably way more to this than can be covered here...you might want to start by reading some on fas.org or globalsecurity.org...
