I tried to sign it, but now my computer screen has my signiture!

In college I interned for a local county supervisor. Most politicials give very little attention to electronic petitions. I was told to dump it.

But politicals do follow up on written petitions on issues such as pot holes and senior citizens.

One supervisor made a campaign promise that he will take care of any parking ticket issues. People voted for him thinking he had special powers. In fact he just paid the parking ticket out of his own pocket.

Electronic petitions carry almost no weight...because there is no way to make sure the people that signed are real...but if it makes you feel any better....
