My reason for applying a shotgun suspension - note not ban - was quite clear and I stand by it. I simply will not tolerate the level of Nationalist/Ethnic posturing and systematic hatred which has been going on of late. This does not apply solely to our Turkish members, but to other constantly flaming groups which I won't list here because most of our membership are well aware of them.

You guys are spoiling MP.Net for our other bona fidé members. Fail to stick to the rules and you can expect your own memberships to be cut short.

I hope when our Turkish friends return in 14 days, they will see the error of their ways, otherwise they may well end up joining the member dealt with by Argyll.

OK - let's get a few things straight:

1. Turks haven't been banned from MP.Net - yet, but if they don't start watching their behaviour who knows. Those who were suspended, were suspended for a very good reason, and it was entirely their own fault.

2. DW58 doesn't have a physical ban stick - never felt the need. .308 rifle and 12g shottie loaded with 00buck/Brenneke slug does me fine.

3. DW58 is not intimidated by a puffed up fool issuing threats because he got suspended. That guy needs to get a life.

4. DW58 has nothing against Turks per se, only Turks who behave like assholes, and DW58 will treat all assholes the same regardless where they come from, even Scots assholes.

5. If our Turkish members come back from suspension on Monday 23rd, there will be no problem whatsoever as long as they stay within MP.Net rules/guidelines and stop the idiotic posting - they know what I mean.

1. I haven't temporarily banned all the Turks, I issued suspensions to a small number who failed to head warnings. This resulted in them receiving ten infraction points and thus were automatically suspended for 14 days.

2. Your information is clearly incorrect - you haven't looked at the thread concerned to see who has received infractions or not before opening your mouth and inserting your size 12 foot.

3. Before accusing me (incorrectly) of double standards, get off your arse and check your facts.

4. If you can't make a pertinent and constructive comment on this thread, I suggest you keep your nose out or risk joining the Turks in suspension.

The current situation is ridiculous, and asinine posts offering guidance on how to run this forum just don't help. If certain elements were able to contain their generations old in-built hatred for each other, life would be a lot easier.

But why to ban/suspend all Turkish members? It's something like collective responsibility, that I haven't seen on any foras before.

I have two questions to you.

I have just closed yet another Armenian Genocide related thread for the same reasons as all previous ones have been closed - disruption and denial from the usual direction.

Everyone is treated the same on MP.Net as long as they behave in a reasonable manner and within the forum rules, but some factions seem unable/unwilling to do this - it's your choice, but expect to face the consequences.

If want to be banned from this board, keep up the current behaviour and you will achieve your aims.

We are all aware Turkey is conducting anti-PKK operations at present. This is not yet another excuse for Turkish Nationalist chest thumping and general anti Kurd flaming and propaganda. I have deleted a topic this morning and infractions have been issued - be warned, this behaviour will not be tolerated.
