Russian/Serb army snipers/weapons pics request

Do the Russian and Serb armies have snipers in the infantry or just in Special forces? Also, is the SVD still the standard Russian sniper rifle? Isn't there a bolt-action rifle in sniping inventory? What rilfe do the Serb snipers use?

Serbian sniper rifle is called M76.It's manufactured on Kalashnikov principle of operation (semi-auto, gas, accurized) and only thing that M76 shares with SVD is copy od PSO-1 scope.With military issue scope is good
out to 400-500m but with better optics you can easily hit targets out to 1000m.Every infantry squad has one man designated as sniper while special forces units usually have two men sniper teams (like US two men
sniper teams).It's produced in 7.92x57 mm cal. and 7.62x54 (SVD cal. for
export).Good weapon overall, and fun to shoot. :D

As ghost_33 wrote. Serbian units also use M93 Crna Strela (Black Arrow) 12.7mm; Sako Trg-21 7.62mm; M91 7.62mm; H&K G3A4 .308 Win.

Thanks for the pics! I am not too sure about the guy in the tree though! I hope he is police sniper not military....any ruskies out there by the way?

Yes, the guy is police and not military.But cool pic nonetheless..
