Will making military 'versus' or against thread get me banned?

Apology for asking here, but I read somewhere in this forum that making a thread or topic based military confrontation or "versus" between nations will result immediate topic locked and the user who created the topic banned? Is it true? For example if I wanted to make topic like "America vs Canada" or "North Korea against South Korea" war thread, is it forbidden? And if you're kind, I'd like to know the reasons also...thank you! :|

Unless it was based upon a very specific and realistic scenario with legitimate in depth analysis, then it would probably be locked fairly quickly.

The reason:...anything less than the above is retarded and best reserved for your local middle school playground.

Actually I'd like to try and find out, but of course I don't want to write and create a very long and deep topic only to find out that the topic got locked hours or days later when I come back...(and worse, I got banned for it)
