yup no 416's here, you can see the delta ring behind the rail system. And like punchout said those ak5's look interesting. When was this pic taken and what does the caption say? My indonesian is a bit rusty :o

Norway is thinking of replacing their G3s with brand new HK416s, though. It's going to be the first country to equip it's army with 'em, so it's going to cost a LOT.

Norway is not only thinking about it, they ordered around 8000 of them.

Price is 100 Million NOK so that would be 2000 US $ per rifle, but this also includes spare parts and armorers tools. And they may be the first who equip so many soldiers with the 416's, but certain US Forces have been using them for years.


The price of each 416 “will range anywhere from $800 to $1,425 depending on volume and accessories,” said H&K’s CEO John Meyer Jr.
