I'm an L.L. Bean's girl. Their stuff rocks, even though it's bloody expensive. EMS has some good stuff, too. I spent over $250 there today.
EDIT:
I only intended to get a poly top to match the bottoms, and I ended up getting a fleece pullover, a Gore-tex jacket, a pair of windpants, a pocketsize book, and a travel roll of duct tape. So much for self-control!
But the Gore-tex and the fleece were on sale. woot

Mountain Hardwear all the way!
Tough, reliable, good looking.
Not as flashy as North Face, which is a plus to me p-)
Jack Wolfskin (day packs, sleeping bags), Asolo (boots), Lowe Alpine and Deuter (backpacks) also got my favor.

Jack Wolfskin for fleece tops and Line 7 for boots. I have a pair of Trezeta boots at the moment and they are proving to be near indestructable any walking boots from France or Italy seem to be hard wearing. Berghaus and Blacks for rucks and tents.

Norrona by far, excellent clothing, supreme quality for both military and all sort of mountainering.

Anything. My walking and climbing boots are Scarpa, my waterproof jacket is Karrimor, my rucksack is Gelert, my walking socks are Bridgedale and my climbing harness is Black Diamond.
I don't care about brands, as long as the kit is good that's all I'm bothered about.
