I think it was the movie Red Heat or something, where Arhnold was a soviet cop who casme here to capture someone and was working with Jim Ba...something. And Arnold said. "Soviet way much more efficient" He was right.
Turn on the song taking care of business and look at the photos.

Global Cops is an action-packed reality series from law
enforcement units around the world.
The programme takes a worldwide look at policing techniques, trouble
spots and crime fighting in major cities around the globe and features
real-life footage of policemen putting their lives on the line.
Full of dramatic, fly-on-the-wall incidents, Global Cops compares and
contrasts the lives of police in their respective fights to keep law and
order and shows their confrontations with killers, drug dealers, drunk

Yeah just because in your back it reads HOMO or was it OMOH doesnt make you a badass, futhermore, their weapons and gear just looks horrible when compared to any serious western unit. :|
But maybe their idea of precision is to spray and pray around with AKS-74U:s.... :cantbeli:

First of all - if you had any attention to detail - you'd notice that most of these men are "SOBR" - I'm sorry that this combination of cyrilyc alphabet letters doesn't provide you an easy target for webforum entertainment, but you have to come up with something original for this one.
"Bad ass gear" doesn't make you badass unless you are a poser monkey - these are men doing their job and not posing for US Cav catalogue... As for the presission of AK74SU - I'm sure they'll have little trouble pegging bad guys with those. Their job is to eradicate criminal element and stomp out illeagal trade, not put tightly grouped holes in mobsters.
If Western Counterparts are so tough with their tricked out gear - how come Russian Mafia florishes in US? How come US has the widest variety of every crime syndicate from around the world? It takes 10 years and entire department in US to take down 1 mobster - so who is it that got more effective police force?

Whoa! don't turn this into a US cops -Vs- Russian Cops ordeal just because Uninen opened his Sass hole. All countries have nasty elements in them. Seems the Russians are a bit more aggressive towards crime (which they should be), but we have so many people here in the states that are so PC and looking for any excuse to berate the police *cough...ACLU...cough* , so our police have to becareful not to offend anyone and be more careful to arrest the right mobster and have all their ducks in a row when they do so.

As for US cops - perhaps, it all starts with the highest percentage of lawyers per capita, especially in California (highest in the world) and to make things worse - it's home to the majority of "right groups"... A burgular can sue you for cutting themselves on the glass they themselves break in your house, can sue you for getting shot by certain types of cartridges etc... Cops are adapting to "blue flu" just to keep out of courts... I live in US now - I just hope that things don't detiriorate any further and citizens having to protect themselves...
And that's not a kick to the groin - it's a kick to the solar plexus... That's the russian way :)
Uninen - I thought something was up but it's hard to distinguish sarcasm on these boards p-) But I'm russian - can I PM you hate mail?

A boot to the solar plexus leaves no long term pain or crippling effect, unless of course it's powerful enough to break the sternum - it instantly creates a spasm that seizes up your lungs and robs the body of oxygen... It's far beyond a surge of pain - making a potato sack for at least couple of minutes... Kicking a guy in the family jewels is just mean - it doesn't take much of a force to lead to permanent damage :(
But I do agree - that guy was hurting for days after :)

Global Cops... Righhhhhht....
Down where I live I get satellite TV in English, French, Portuguese and Chinese. I follow mainly BBC World Service news and TV5 Telejournal. Being political backwater and an allround safe and boring country, Finland gets very little press (even though the Queen of Finland is hot). But there is one show where Finland and my home town Helsinki are featured almost every day, and that, oh my brothers, is Global Cops.
Now there are action scenes with SA police clearing a condemned tenement in Jo'burg, Argentine police in gunfight, Greek police SWAT training, you name it, rough stuff from the mean streets, blood and gunsmoke all around. And then comes the caption "Helsinki, Finland"... Where we invariably see Helsinki's finest, tall and brawny dudes in blue overalls, rescuing kittens, guiding lost motorists, moving clamped vehicles, and herding alcoholics of all ages and sexes. The narrator never fails to point out that "the Finns are a law-abiding nation with a great deal of respect towards officers of law, and they trust their police, Finland being the least corrupted country in the world, yadda yadda yadda, but many of them party hard and weekends are very busy."
That's Finland, in a nutshell! woot
Mustamato, is that asshole with the camera the guy who films the real-life incidents for Finnish parts of Global Cops? I think he's way out of line. Once they showed a drunk wandering on the street. Police took him home instead of the local drunk pound because his child was home alone. Then the camera guy walks into the man's home, you can see the name on the door and all, and then a maybe nine-year old boy peeks out of his bedroom, scared and embarrassed because of his daddy, the cops, and the ****head with the camera. Nice one. Problem families are part of my job and I could kick the cameraman's teeth in for making docusoap out of the little boys tragedy.

Well, not many I guess, but there is this one Russian dude who seems obsessed with homo******ity. Maybe he's trying to tell us something?

Russian police officer kick butts. I wouldnīt be a criminal in russia.
Thats for sure..
I think if criminals knew that these guys would pound them into the ground, and not have to worry about police brutality lawsuits, or civil liberties people going ape $hit, they might think of a different carreer.
(note: thats not to suggest any political agenda, just a general statement.)

How do you think this taclight is attached to the AK?

They take little women, why not large men?
Remember the episode of the simpsons where bart gets a label maker and a walkie talkie... none of the cops are thin enough to fit in the well.
Sure it is a cartoon, but I have seen plenty of fat cops.

Looks like a night vision , kinda like NSPU-3 thought ithink it's not that .
But i have some strange suspicion , perhaps it's just me ... Can it be that the scope is mounted backwards ????? I think someone is drunk here , or me , or that cop guy .
