Well , culturally we are pretty out of fase from Asia and Arab peninsula , or entire middle east for that matter . And Us of A are ocean away , so mostly culturally we belong to Europe . That's why our games are held as part of Europe , and we take part in Eurovision .
Thought it's very nice to see how some people in Europe feels about it . Very ****en nice , but no surprise there .

As we all know, Israel is on the Asian continent. But I see upon Israel as European and have no problems with the fact that they do participate in Eurosong and basket ball or whatever they want to participate in.
The problem is: Do the Israelis look upon themselves as Europeans, Asian or just Jewish.

The only problem for me is that I am afraid that Israel is going to be a member in the EU before Norway. That I do not like. :D

no offence but even turkey are more in europe than israel its good to some kind of bonds and threatys but joining EU? like Russia or Turkey it should be BIG NO.
common leagues etc hmm yes i have no problem but that also means that they have no bonds with their neighbours, and only way to stop this blood**** is to learn how to live with eachother, maybe common song contest or common sport league would be good idea one little step to make finally peace there??
