german helmets

i have a little question about german w02 helmets

does the shell ( metal part off helmet ) vary in size ? does something exist as a small shell, medium shelll and so on

i know the inner liner differs in size but does the outer shell to ?

i recently bought a helmet and it looks, maybe this sounds strange, enormous when i put it on and look in the mirror.

i have measured 56 cm
