How come their hasn't been more info about the Masada on the net or in more of the industry magazines lately???
From what I understand Mapul did something not many company's could do, From what little I know of the Masada it's supposed to be a good weapon with a fairly inexpensive price tag.

Just a question on ergononmics of this rifle.
The following photo came from another thread on the Masada.

For those who have this weapon in real life, do you think the location of the (low profile) charging handle is a bit too close to the optics?
Using the Steyr with Picatinny rails, when doing IA drills rapidly I would cut myself on the rails every so often. From the pictures I've seen, the charging handle on the Masada is even smaller, and closer to the rails / optics mount. Hopefully we're not going to get operators complaining of skinned knuckles from rapid IA drills.

I really like this rifle. It has the potential to be a real small company success story. It has all the features you expect from a modern small calibre weapons system using tried and tested techniques. I gather Magpul has quite a good rep in the US.

Magpul is a small company and it is doing all it can to produce the masada, but it would be better served to have the weapon bought by a larger company to develope it further.
As far as anyone that has it.. only a few prototype are made and it is only in the hands of the Magpul skunkworx.
Great gun, great concept and it is probably one of the better design to come from anyone in a very long time.

So what is so nice about this weapon??
Kind of looks like a cross btw a G36 and FN SCAR to me?
Looks piston driven as well, im assuming it is a 5.56 and 7.62 upgradeable?
