Hi, I've gotten Propper OD 4-pocket BDUs but is wondering is any units still wearing them or all switching to ACUs?
All I see are units wearing OD flightsuits. If wearing BDUs as I mentioned, do they tuck it in? Thks:-)

SF in woodland is great for South East Asia. I've seen training videos of the regular U.S. Army in Thailand in all their shiny ACU glory. They looked like Star Wars Stormtroopers in the wrong movie. :)

Only Soldiers in non-deploying units still wear BDUs on the conventional side. The ACUs are only being issued to those who are getting ready to deploy. Those who wish to do so can also purchase them from Clothing and Sales at the PX to wear. A lot of the medical Soldiers and JAG personnel wear BDUs because the majority of them rarely deploy. You will also find NAtional Guard and Reserve units still wearing BDUs.

In A'Stan I saw a number of SF guys wearing this (http://www.atlanco.com/) in woodland.

I still wear mine on a dialy basis here in Conus , but rotate between my Green Jungle boots and my Bellevilles. Sometimes wear the ACU's when my BDU's are in the laundry waiting for me to wash them.

I was in Washington, DC yesterday at he big "Publice Service Employee Recognition Week" show on the National Mall (LOTS of Military/Federal LE stuff on display). From what I saw all the Army guys were in ACU's, Marines in Marpat (mostly desert - temps were in the high 80's).
However - the Navy and Air Force SpecWar representatives were all still in Woodland BDU's (except one guy with SBU 2 out of Little Creek, VA who was wearing civilian camo pants - "Real Tree" I think).
BTW/OT I'll have some pics to post this weekend (hopefully)...
