The designers of the Coast Guard's newest MLB were given a mandate. The boat had to be able to handle the worst coastal conditions-survive 20-foot breaking waves that would hit with three times the force of gravity, make progress through 30-foot seas, maneuver in hurricane-force winds, and perform complete rollovers and come up fighting.

Awesome shots. After a rollover, or during, how is water kept out of the air induction?
