since the summer movie season is upon us what upcoming movies do u wanna see (doesn't have to be just the year 2004)? Feel free to add any movies of books or concepts u would like to see made as well.

Summer 2004:

Troy (mainly to see if Brad Pitt can pull off his role of achilles)

Spiderman 2 (would rather see the lizard or kraven the hunter than dr. octopus, but it looks good)

Sometime in the near future:

the Peter Jackson remake of King Kong

Batman year 1 (supposedly truer to the comic book than previous movies)

Neon Genisis Evangelion (kinda dreading this one, the anime is complex and i'm not sure u can boil the story down to 90 mins. But the people behind the LOTR trilogy r working on it so there is hope)

Movie i wanna see made:

Blade of The Immortal ( Japanese comic about a samurai who cannot die). The premise is he wants to become mortal (so he can die) so he makes a bargin with the one person who can release him from his suffering. The deal, he must kill 1000 evil men (to make up for the 100 good men he killed) .

Weapon X. the story how wolverine got his metal bones and claws

I'd give my spleen to see "Bubba Ho Tep" but it's not due for a UK cinema release until at least September.

Jerry Bruckheimer and Antoine Fuqua are making a movie apparently about the "real" King Arthur or something. Saw a trailer on TV and it doesn't look too awful.

Ya not it's not looking to bad, I have a feeling Jerry Bruckheimer is gonna put Kiera Knightly in all his films, but I dont have problem with that ;)

Summer 04:

Spiderman 2: Peter Parker was my traumatized childhood hero.

Near Future:

Any Batman sequel after the horrible Arnold interruption sounds good. Never let Arnie near a BM set again.

Wishlist:

"The Killer" remake by a Hollywood Studio, "Ransom" by Jay McInerney filmed, a dark action/thriller take on the SOF raid on Kandahar in late 2001. Remember Seymour Hershes story in The New Yorker?
