I'm looking for recommendations for books on armored warfare, tanks, mechanized infantry, armored cavalry, etc. I'd appreciate any suggestions and reviews.

Mechanized Combat (Hardcover) by Chris Bishop (Very good book, you can get it at Amazon for 3 $)
Panzer Tactics: German Small-Unit Armor Tactics in World War II by Wolfgang Schneider
Achtung-Panzer!: The Development of Armoured Forces, Their Tactics and Operational Potential by Heinz Guderian
Panzer Leader by Heinz Guderian, B. H. Liddell Hart, Kenneth Macksey, and Constatine Fitzgibbon
The Rommel Papers (Da Capo Paperback) by Erwin Rommel and Basil Henry Liddell Hart

Thanks for the reply. I've been looking at Panzer Tactics for some time, but the first one is definately new to me and I'm going to check it out.

Yes, it's a nice book that covers basics ... I'm an infantryman so I didn't know fcuk about armor before I bought that book. And it's cheap too ...
Panzer Tactics is an awesome book too (more serious than Mechanized Combat).
I have all these books ... Interesting stuff. I you wanna research armored combat research Germans ... they are the ones that started it all and were the best at it.
