that being the case i would withdraw the poser comment, however there are still lingering shades of "wannabe" hanging over his head right now.

East Scout, if getting all cammed up and running escape and evasion weekends is your thing then that's fine, but if that is the extent of your "sniper" experience then you probably should keep your comments to your self.

and army "A" is better than every one else comments should always be saved for drunken get togethers with a group of like minded peers not an Internet forum with members who represent just about every military service known to man.

I think that is well said.

We all bump heads from time to time. What seems clear and not rude to me, may not come across that way to another. I think part of the problem is the Textual environment we all operate in on most forums the message does not alway come across as we would like it too.

I respect a number of people in this thread, I feel this will all pass for the better.

All in all who is the best sniper, does it matter. There is a guy who was pretty unknown. Yet his kills were number one in Viet-Nam. There are sniper comps, and they say? There has been some exceptional shots being made and they get published. Are they the only ones?

From what I read and see, generally the UK and US rates very high or maybe that is all that gets published. What makes a high class sniper, probably there are few here that can actually comment on it. I know people who can, but I am not one of them. It is all opinion, and for me the best sniper is the one who in the eyes of his team mates and fellow soldiers rate No. 1.

There are so many people on the net today its hard to tell friend from foe when you're a member of an Internet forum, so be careful. More often than not, you'll come across an individual who is with out a doubt troubled, and its obvious this person doesn't have enough activities to fill out his day. A person who is obviously suffering mental distress from a self loathing attitude and self esteem issues. Usually their only recourse is to seek out chaos and cause trouble w/ other people for his own pathetic amusement. Amusing only themselves and some of their butt kissing drama groupie followers. The thing is, there's usually is no direct price to pay when you get one of these character's running his mouth on the net. They cower behind a screen and run their mouth endlessly. They know right well they would never try that in a pub or face to face....Unfortunately is one of the down side to Internet usage..In the end, the only people who suffer is the forum as a whole...if the tough guy wants to give me his number, Id be happy to call him and talk about it..Like a man. You can email me anytime.

He likes to label people "Dumb ass of the week". That's fine. Maybe they are or aren't. Truth is that most, if any, are not. The truth also is that w/ every post he's the one that looks more and more like a moron. Far over shadowing the people he thinks he's better then. . But hey, who am I to argue of someone wants to look like an idiot..

He knows nothing about me other than that I think, and have thought he is a total wanker for his childish behavior on "said" forum. He resorted to personal attacks and abusive language containing absolutely no fact or substance after flame baiting me regarding an opinion that was posted. My opinion. Sad. Very sad that some would be suffering from such deep personal issues that they would make a mockery of not one, but two Internet Discussion Forums just for some sort of twisted attention fix. I guess some people need the drama and they need their drama groupies to simply get through their day and feel important..One has to wonder what their personal lives are like to generate such arbitrary tempestuous chaotic out bursts. One must also wonder what sort of Admin is running this forum to let such kids run around crying about every thing under the sun. Ruining it for everyone..

Well you see, my work speaks for it self. People that know me know I'm real. I don't have to scream in a school yard tantrum like a 6 year old girl to get my point across and to get people to like me. I don't have one thing to prove. Some people cant say the same. I have one of the longest threads in the gear section that's been running over a year now. It's received nothing but praise and compliment abound. From members and Mods alike. We did it w/o one flame attack or argument. I bet this guy can't say the same. He cant even finish a sentence w/o interjecting some homo****** undertone and using abusive language. Definite sign of mediocre intelligence and social status. Funny thing is he has been here for years and Ive never heard of him until i saw his cry baby post a few weeks ago slamming some guy for his opinion after he kicked him out. LOL Then smart guy tried to compare my banishing a guy on my forum for being a disrespectful sneaky **** to his own cry baby antics here on this forum. He had to the nerve to call me a hypocrite. Truth is he saw himself in that post. Both are troublemaker. Both use abusive language and both hide behind a computer to make trouble.

No matter. I wont post on this forum again. To much of the kid games and to much crying going on.

This is all about backing up your facts. Is it not? If you make a claim, then be prepared to back it up.
ES made a claim and was challenged. Instead of citing facts, he made childish posts.
People still argue which country has the best snipers. Well, nine times out of 10 the countries best don't compete, because they are off doing OTHER things.
When deployed, coalition units work together, even down to the sniper det. If people are going to turn a ghillie suit thread into a international sniper competition, then of course we are going to have people looking like idiots.

I'm not sure what is meant by real deal... is ES military? Is he evading an actual hunter force? Or is he just an outdoor enthusiast? There is nothing wrong with that IMO. But what do you mean by real deal?
