Good lord yes. Can't believe it took so long. Hopefully they've spent their time building a water-tight case that would require a 5-ton truck to drive through and get stuck in his front yard while he takes his money from the freezer. p-)

The charges came almost two years after investigators raided Jefferson's home in Washington and found $90,000 in cash stuffed in a box in his freezer.

it is fairly amazing to find corruption in a place absolutely famous as corrupt.

When he was first caught with the frozen cash, Pelosi took him off the Ways and Means Committee. Can't have a crook on that.
Instead she put him on the Intelligence Committee.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss, only worse.

Yeah, its bizarre...well not really. She's just as corrupt as he is, she simply does a MUCH better job keeping it under wraps.

Are they going to freeze his assets?

Cold hard cash?
Funny how the Democrats talked about a "culture of corruption". Between jefferson, Feinstein, Murtha, Reid, et al I think they deserve a Kennedy Center Honors award for their contribution to this culture.
