Guys you all need to wake up. Talk to people that have been there. This belief that Iraq is a total complete and utter anarchy with RPG's everywhere is hogwash. In truth, 80% of the country is more or less peaceful and secure. There are just certain areas...Najaf and Fallujah in particular, where there are these small groups of isolated insurgents and foreign fighters. In fairly small numbers, probably in the low thousands.

The overwhelming majority of Iraqis are glad saddam is gone and the majority of the country is starting to be rebuilt.

When they take a poll of your average 1000 Iraqi's who go on to say something like:
"Americans coming to Iraq and booting Saddam has caused us nothing but trouble.
However,
getting rid of Saddam was worth the price"....

How the hell are americans supposed to think of your average Iraqi?

Don't get me wrong, Iraq is better off now than let's say oh, March 18,2003 or even April 14th, 2003.

The country is more stable despite the negative news hunted by and looked for by the media.

But your average Iraqi does not seem to know how to make up his mind either.

What's it going to be Iraq?
