What I dont understand is other than the fact that its an excuse for everyone to get drunk is why do we celebrate a MEXICAN holiday?

Yeah I celebrated today by sicking my 145 pound Rotti on 3 drunk Mexicans who tryed to pic a fight with me because I'm not Mexican!
SO yeah this hliday is real high on my list of days to celebrate!
Not the mention after Cinco De Mayo the French took Mexico city anyway so why do they celebrate this day as there independence???
