Well, for any of you that thought that it's poverty that is driving them notice the SUVs these kids travel in. In addition, the reporter says the price of the weapons (all belong to their family): A handgun made in Egypt-1200$, Jericho handgun-4000$, Jericho handgun with laser pointer-4500$, M16-12,500$, shortened M16 with collapsible stock-14,200$ to 16,600$, and what to me looks like a CAR15 with aimpoint sight is 16,600$ and can get up to 21,400$.
When the kid was asked, "why do you fight the IDF? They are soldiers like you, they wear uniforms, have weapons, how are they different from you?" he answered, "they are English and we are Arabs".
The funny thing is that the adults keep on mentioning that their kids are taught these things because, "that's the situation we live in" as if with all that money they have no choice.
Their grandfather is also interviewed, he worked and lived for 20 years in Tel Aviv, the reporter asks him, "You don't hate Jews?" and he answers, "ofcourse not! No one hates Jews. They are our cousins, trust me nobody hates Jews."
Later he asks the kids about making peace with them (Jews) and they answer "we'll never make peace with them".

not surprising. the documentary about gaza that was on HBO, where the film maker was shot at night by an IDF patrol accidentally, they showed kids in Gaza calling jews pigs and apes, and making fun of the way jews pray. Its disgusting and this is almost never reported in the big media. people really have no idea how brainwashed these kids are.

Perhaps it time for to make a programe about the children of the illegal settlers in Hebron.
1. There was such a program followed by a huge scandal.
2. Jews in Hebron are as illegal settlers as the Arabs(little history lesson would help).
3. WTF this has anything to do with the topic of the descussion? Are you suggesting that Palestinians teaching their children to use weapons because they are being hassled by Jewish residents of Hebron? Let me disappoint me you - every family in WB trying to get a gun by any means to protect themselves against ... other Arabs. With all the chaos going on in WB, they simply need means of protections against criminals and such, since there is simply no one who can protect them(police when they are not busy to fight against Hamas, become another criminal organization). Regardless, the boy is talking about growing up and becoming "wanted"(a terrorist) as his biggest life aspiration.

As for the killing of the mentioned children it of course regrettable. But you have to be a pretty sick parent to bring childen into a war zone, for political reasons when you could just have stayed out. Secondly these children wouldn't have been killed either had the israeli state done what they are supposed to do under international law (and common morality), namely never allowed these criminals to settle in the occupied territories.

I surely say that the danish forces in Iraq would step in immediately should some wacko danish citizens decide that they wanted to settle and help themselves to some land in the danish controlled zone.

Well, in that case most nationalities in the world are brutal, evil and subhuman because most have gone through bloody and senseless civil wars in their history. I don't think it would be that hard to find brainwashed children from any hotspots of the world. It's just so convenient for some Israelis to stir the sh!t to look good compared to their neighbours. I doubt it would be very hard to find indoctrinated children in ultra-ortodox homes either. Extremists are extremists - same crap in a different color wrapper.
