Sorry if this has already been discussed, I didn't find anything on search though.
I was just watching a NBC report on the US Interceptor body armour vs. Pinnacle's Dragon Skin and I got to thinking.. What do our(Canadian) soldiers wear in Afghanistan? I'm hoping Dragon Skin but I doubt it.

Well other than the NBC report I saw, I've never seen/researched body armor before. Looked pretty good from that report.

Shoot it with 7,62X54R AP and then we'll talk. It's just III class NIJ.
And as for the CF body armor the fair guess would be they use soft ballistics rated at IIIa NIJ class/ Frag resistance at least a F2 level plus class IV NIH hard ceramic plates. Preety much the world's standard with advanced armies.

CTS Body Armor. It is presented on their homepage.

When TV program improves. So not very soon...
My bet: kiddies will be distracted when a new 24 seasonīstarts.

Except of course they are under investigation now for claiming things they should not have and various other naughty things....p-)
