Guess they have a hard on for everything americans. I have yet to see anything on this page or else where truely a chinese military innovation. Well I could be wrong, maybe J-10 can point out something to me. But why waste money on R&D when you can just copy it.

What's with those little flip-down screens on their helmets? Is that their version of "Land Warrior"?

If I used the Land Warrior, I'd get a damn 404 error or the "blue screen of death", with my luck.

~To be fair, sooner or later all soldiers will start looking pretty much the same. The optimum shape for a helmet remains the same regardless of who makes it because thats...erm..optimum. Before long, I suspect digital patterns like CADPAT or MARPAT or their clones will be the norm because thats the best there is. Webbing will be assualt vests of various kinds. Its going to be fun trying to identify friendlies on a dark and rainy night...-thankfully I'll be boring my grandchildren with war stories by then.

Bah...it was better way back. The brits were fighting in shorts and kilts and had dishpans for helmets, the germans had helmets with spikes on them and so on...
