Okay, I don't know if it should go here or in the Airsoft section, but it seems more fitting to put here so anyway...


On TT's website, they say thier bib is only for the MAV 1pc. and will not work with the X-Harness. However, on Optactical.com, it says the bib will work with the X-Harness...so who is right? I would like to believe Optactical, but I think TT would be the authority on their products.

So does anyone have knowledge/experience to suggest that the X-Harness will work with the bib, or is Optactical wrong?

ive seen people use a bib with an x harness so youre good to go

The "1 Piece" doesn't refer to the x harness, it refers to the fact that there are "1 piece" and "2 piece" versions of the MAV--the 2 piece is split-front and has buckles in the middle. Therefore, doesn't work with the bib...

Because the width between the front buckles on the one & two piece versions is different the bib will only work with the MAV-1 model.
This width discrepancy has no effect on the mounting of the x-harness as it's just a (nice) straps.
However with a bit of sewing it's possible to modify the bib to work on the MAV-2 although you loose the easy opening facility.
