Sorry for the crappy quality pic, its a pic of the flier itself
Well im just helpin them spread the word , as you can see from the flier the vendors will have booths set up with thier product line and you can test out that product. The way they ll set it up is by having the tac ranges as the designating firing zone with the booths becomig the firing line. It will be kinda like Raahauge's shooting fair where you pay for the magazine .
Come on by , bring your kids & family and just have some funhttp://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

I usually don't plug local events, but....
Gun runner are one of the good guys on So Cal and it is worthy of your support. if you are in the area and have some free time, go up to the range say hello and have some fun.
Maybe we can do a mini So Cal MP.net meet and greet.

Haha, but seriously though, how do you guys get around the tight laws Cali has? Is the event sponsored by the LE or something?

With clenched teeth and lots of Vaseline, of course p-)
You could have the above firearms if:
a) purchased and registered before 2000
b) built on registered AW's, registered before 2000
c) don't appear on the Banned Weapon lists and don't violate the definition of what State of California deems is an Assault Weapon...
d) there are worst laws in California so it's really impossible to stay within the law - there are felony charges for martial arts equipment, so why even bother? "I aim to misbehave" as Captain Reynolds would have said it.
Is the event sponsored by the LE or something?
It's sponsored by the Gun Store - Gunrunners...
Being a LEO is no safe heaven in California - most of them hurt like the rest of us.

All of the firearms above were purchased previous to dec 31 99 , and are registered as assault weapons. Everything is totally legal.
Us Californians can have some cool stuff too :)

Hey Chen, In the PDRC, are pre-ban receivers legal, or a go to jail card?

you pretty much answered the question yourself , PRE BAN receivers are 100% legal as long as they were purchased and registered before 2000, which these are.

There is no more "Democratic" in People's Republic of Kalifornia - you've been gone a while p-)
There is a building backlash though, starting with unreasonable prosecution of legally FFL'ed firearms, conflicting positions of CABoF and DA's needing months of preparation to make their charges - culmination of that is the entire CA AWB is in Court, charged with exactly those faults. This is as good of time to rattle the cage as any.

I hear ya. That sucks. :-( Gun guys usually know more about the laws than the average law enforcement guy who talks big against guns.

Yeah, unfortunately, seizing your property "per DOJ's okay" is a common step to dealing with not knowing the law - never mind the months of waiting and fees to get your property back... Then there are DA's that don't know their ass from their donkey - charging legally owned .30 cal weapon as .50 BMG and other nonsense... Even when DA's are hung out to dry, you would think that some of them would have decency to expedite the process of reverting their damage - but no, some choose to hang on to settling on destruction of the seized property even after it's proven 100% legally owned and acquired.
Being on the right side still thinks that you are liable for tens of thousands of dollars - tinfoil hat or not, BoF lakey checking out your property can quickly turn into a vicious defense of their existence (which has been a rather poor showing).
Rant over, sorry p-)

Let see, I think I will play some of my BELT FED stuff, Lookt at those 30 rd Magazine, see how easy they slide in and out of the Pre-ban assualt type rifles.
Maybe go to the gun shop and look at all those magazine feed black rifles, gee, just trun over some money and walk out of the door with one. Maybe look at a 50 cal Barret too.
Oh yesssssss I will have my Conceal carry with me too.

I think if I bought a nice AK, a few pistols, I'd be done. My gun-ness burned out after working in a gun store, so nothing is really special anymore.
YOUR TRICKS ARE WEAK, UNCLE HOLLIS!
I wonder how much property is near Talkeetna, AK? p-)

Or keep spreading dissent p-)
Kalifornia is a petri dish for the bad laws that others look to replicate - if it's successful on the State level then it just might have a chance on the Federal.

Grasshopper, in time the smell of Hoppe's Number 9 will draw you near. It will happen, maybe during a kick ass movie, or hearing guns shots in the distance, The Cry of firearm waiting to be owned will beckon you..
Taco........... Buy me, Taco Buy me.........
and soon other firearms waiting to be bought will join the chorus to.....Buy me..... You new Capital One card will have just arrived.....
You will not be able to resist. You'll have a few, then need a gun cabinet, then need to fill the gun cabinet, than another and another.
Resistance is futile.

Had a great deal on SR25 in the works, sadly for me it fell through. So I guess I will have to keep the junker of a A 10.
