Saw them in Lakeland Florida in 1981. Outstanding band. Ray Davies invented feedback guitar playing. Wrote one of Van Halen's biggest hits "You Really Got Me" which they also had a hit with. Plus Dave and Ray Davies used to have fistfights with each other long before the Gallagher brothers decided it would be a hip thing to do to boost Oasis sales. Ray used to bang Chrissy Hind, had a kid with her, so he's extra cool for that. Their double live album is a must have.

yeah i got hooked on them after sitting down and chatting with Guster...Joe the new guy said they were one of his favorit bands and the only stuff i had heard by them was you really got me...totaly amazed....joe im jelious i wish i was around to go to shows like that
