I take it you haven't been in Toronto in some time. We already did this in Malvern, Regent Park, Jamestown, Parkdale, Jane & Finch etc. Only problem is that the guns they have ain't paint ones.

Yeah, you caught me.....I'm all about the "CADPAT style". Indeed, I figure that I must have looked right sexy at 0730 this morning when I showed up for PT in my parka, wind-pants, muckluks and snowshoes.... :roll:

Being the father of 2 pre-pubescent children of my own, I fully realize that trying to instill a modicum of common-sense and self-restraint amongst most of my younger countrymen is absolutely pointless. Still, I thought it worth trying. After all, some of them are of military age whether they choose to serve (like Memphiz) or simply choose to prattle nonsense like my 5-year old daughter.

Those who served in the past have provided our adolescent "big mouths" with the unconstrained opportunity to "spout-off" to a world-wide audience. Surely, that right to represent oneself and (by extension) one's country in a completely asinine light must be precisely what those veterans were working for as they were slogging their way through Italy, Northwest Europe, Korea, or elsewhere.....

Quite frankly, as long as the infants don't portray themselves as serving Canadian soldiers then I suppose that I honestly can't complain. After all, it is a free country and everyone is therefore permitted to express themselves in whatever manner they choose - even if they elect to represent themselves as utter arse-clowns on an international military web-site. As a fellow Canadian citizen I find the infantile "chatter" to be utterly embarassing, but that is obviously "just me"....

By all means, those to whom this applies are free to carry on making complete fools of themselves in an international military forum. I'd simply ask that you be aware of the fact that there are many more of us out here who bear allegiance to the Maple Leaf. And we strongly resent being collectively diminished by your incessantly infantile babbling.... :(
