Mounir Abdallach Bouamrane was of Algerian origin. He was 36 years old. At age 20 he came to Poland as his mother was Polish. He learned here the audiovisual technology and for 11 years he worked for Polish State TV - TVP1 as a technician. He was shot by assassins as he apparently tried to stop them after the first sortie. Friens called him "Mundi" as his original name was hard to ****ounce. RIP
Al-F*ckzeera claims the attack was not an accidental ... So it was to be a deliberate planned assault on a specific man of whom they knew he was never armed. Their Iraqi guide as the only car passenger got away untouched.

And now Jazeera is showing dead bodies of Walemar Milewicz and Mounir Abdallach Bouamrane......
You can go on their www site, click on a proper link, and voila, two pics of two murdered men. These are those well known high standards of arab journalism....

What I find amazing but not surprising is the lack of respect coming to these 2 guys from the Anti American/Anti Coalition Brigade which really irks me,this is an opportunity for these guys to prove they're not here just to start Flame wars...........sad really.

It's ****ed-up when anyone has to die for their job...to deliver 'us' people at home, eating our dinner infront of the tv, with 'action-shots of the current events in an warzone.

Here are some pictures of their bodies.

Nevertheless its still hard to tell in what part of the body they were hit. I am quite curious whether they could survive if they had bulletproof vests and helmets. There are some other interesting facts. Camera man said that first shots lasted for about 30 seconds, that it sounded like fire from heavy weapon and that the distance between TVP car and atacker were very close, yet car doesn't seem to be much damaged and there are not many visible wounds on the bodies (no sign of bullet holes). Any idea why?

the windscreen of the car had at least 15-20 rounds through it,all it takes is one to hit a vital organ,it also looks like AK rounds too.
Sad pictures tho........helmets I doubt but body armour perhaps, odd as to why they were not wearing it?

Some journalists argue that wearing body armour make them better visible - so easier target. For people that do not wear armour often it is also not comfortable - their work is more difficult. Of course someone can tell that sacrificing safety is silly, but there are situations that journalist wearing armour is in much bigger danger than one without personal protections.
Hard to tell how it was in Milewicz`s case. Probably if someone want to kill unarmed men, he could do it without problems.
I am not really curious where two Polish were hit (but it is not so hard to guess when looking at those pics). But there are voices, there were killed very fast, without long agony.
