That we aren't being inundated with multiple threads about Sen. Vitter paying to get blown. Nice of his wife to appear with him and claim she loves him more than ever even though she looked like she was in serious pain.
Course he should be happy she didn't make good on her old Loreena Bobbit quote about that other guy, you know......was President for a bit......got a few blowjobs.....you know, that guy.

Well obviously it's because Republicans are pleased that he went about things the proper way - by using a certified industry professional, fostering small business growth, and working within the guidelines of office sexual harassment policy. And hey, it's still early on, his wife may not have planned her revenge yet.

He is a Louisiana boy keeping good with the constituents and their small businesses. A good Republican if you ask me.
This thread has an ambiguous title and no link to the context.

I agree 2Sheds and at least he's not boning page boys. His wife is a tall drink o' water. I'm thinking she was pretty hot back a few years ago.
Excuse the hell out of me shocker. How's this "Simple Southern Senator gets Sucked by Sluts then Slammed by Media".

HAHAHA, I like that better.
IMO there is not much hay because many more high pollutants on the hill made use of services. It is odd though none of the regulars have posted various threads on this topic. Maybe they visit Hong Kong Spa too, no?

I think the problem here is that the Vitter thing really isn't sexy enough to be interesting.
Studds established way back in 1983 that it was OK to have sex with the page boys. His reaction was - "yeah, so what" - at which point he was given standing ovations and plum congressional assignments. It was only outrageous when Foley did it because he was stupid enough to build a career based on saying that sort of thing was bad...which I think it's still supposed to be...and then went and did it himself. And we can't have that - that's a juicy scandal.
But I don't think anybody really knows Vitter. For people to really be outraged about it, for it to really matter, he would have had to have sponsored some anti-prostitution legislation. If he was smart, he'd just say - "yeah, so what?" instead of coming up with a sappy Jerry Falwell defense. Is there some sort of requirement that people in politics have to be both sexually bent and idiots?
>edit< just saw a story on CNN that he's denying he ever actually did anything with the prostitute - he just called the service a bunch of times, you see. It's never the act...it's always the cover-up that gets 'em in trouble.

Yeah, 2Shed is correct on that.
But theres a saying I follow by, "If theres' no eye witnesses, decline everything till proven guilty in the court of law."
