Polish soldier is dead in Iraq he was driving a car when truck crushed it it fell of from road, this was accident not attack.
This is sad week for Poland

Not sure they looked like Para's,they were posing for pics at BIAP.

Apparently GROM were seen around BIAP too ;)

I heard/read that grom operators rarely are big rather "wiry" and normal height...

I wouldn't be surprised if GROm were of a normal build, you have to be to have a good endurance.

I read that in some article..so this is not first hand info....Muscle arent everything :) You must pass selection course, and you are GROM memeber then :)

I've just read that cpt. Stróżak noticed the danger and stopped the convoy. Then he walked alone to the suspicious place to investigate it and then IED exploded. he was wounded badly in the head, heands and leg. he died in the hospital. The article says that he prevented the convoy from another IED expolosion. Another words-guys from the convoy owe him one.
