I would love to either see or at least see the efects after a battle with that gun...I don't think there is really anyone who will be able to beat that gun in a fight...I certainly wouldn't want to be on the otehr end. Especially with the armor piercing and thermobaric rounds...

Man, I would hope that they woudl have those kinks worked out before they send it into batlle....It would not be fun trying to restart the sight when you need it...

I remember reading about this a while ago, it'll be interesting to see how much they're worth - considering that weight is *less* than a tripod mounted 30 cal . ;)

I would love to see this weapon succeed in battle under any condition, it looks unlikely because this weapons is almost all electronic which would for no money be able to handle harsh conditions such as being dropped or movement through water. Electronics always fail during battle, is is a sort of habbit. Be practical!

Russian electronics maye..But tell me wahat will survive more biting Casio g-shock or russian wostock ?
hopefully just the airburst requires electricity and it will function like a normal weapon when the sight fails or battery dies.

Bull****, I don't believe you. Paul Verhoeven wouldn't direct it if it went straight to video.

Off topic.
I have to agree with AVZ here, Starship Trooper 2 did skip the theaters and gone straight to the
video rentals store. Not only that, you can also find this title and download it using any peer to peer
network software.
BTW post your video review in the off topic section, not here please.
Back to topic, is there a rifle underbarrel grenade launcher version for the XM-307?
Another question, is the XM-109 25mm "payload" rifle considered as a grenade launcher, a sniper rifle,
or a sniper "cannon"(like that of South Africa's NTW-20)?

Yea he's right. I saw the movie on HBO last week, and it was a rancid pile of dog poo. No wonder it went striaght to video.
