at University level once. It didn´t really teach me anything about crazy lunatics
of today, but it teached me a little about the history of islam and what Islam was.
It´s not any more violent than christianity. A couple of days ago 600+ christians
slaughteres moslems in case you missed that on the news.

I give arabs and moslems the right to defend themselves, and the christian world
have a crusade on them right now with the christian prez Bush as our self-appointed

Islam is supposed to be "a religion of peace". Which is kind of freaking hard to believe, as some individuals skillfully take advantage of that religion to pursue their own goals, or get them more power...

Ok it was too much for you to read. But it was the speach of Urban II that started
the first crusade. Many arabs feel that there is a crusade against them now, and
I agree with them. In a way there has not been peace since then between the
christian and the moslem world. So well, you claimed that "they started it", I
say that we did. Of course there were major clashes already before the crusade,
in example in the battle of Poitiers during the days of Charlemagne. But these
really only definied and pointed out the way to come later during the 1-4th Crusade.

Btw I´m here because I have a (obvious?) interest in military news and so forth.

Ok how can you say that something that happened 1000's of years ago,where there were no bloody geneva conventions has any bearing on the the Radical Muslims of today?

Anyone with some education will realize neither Christianity nor the Muslim religion is innocent.

However, I will say one thing.... the Muslim spread into Europe did not help their cause. This was at least 300 years before the crusades if memory serves me correct.

On today: if the average Muslim thinks this is a crusade, which they anyway don't, they would be.. well, to say it nicely, be naive.

It's many of their leaders that say so and you will have suckers that will fall for it, believing their reward lies in heaven..

Sounds alot like Christians leaders from a while back telling their people to listen to them, or they're going to hell...

To Bush: I may not agree with many of Bush's policies, yet, I have yet to hear coming from his lips that the Muslim religion must be destroyed.

I have yet to hear from him that Iraq needs to be converted to Christianity.

I have yet to hear from him that Christian soldiers need to martyr themselves against the Muslims.

catholics killed muslims and christians.
catholics are not christians, please dont confuse the 2.

christanity = the teachings of christ.
witnessing, healing, teching the things jesus teached

muslims dont recognize jesus as the son of God,
but they do recognize him as a prophet.
