Alice and Molle compatibility ????

I have some Alice pouches hanging on my belt, but I don't have any experience with Molle gear. Today I found the following pic on the internet:

Now the question: is every Molle pouch also Alice compatible?

No, most aren't ALICE compatible. You can get an ALICE/MOLLE adapter though....

I am a real newbie when it comes up to molle gear.

You can attach MOLLE gear to an ALICE belt with MALICE clips but the pouches will bounce a lot, especially the larger ones...

I would just switch everything to MOLLE. I hated using malice clips cause they would rust shut all the time.

Yeah, that's what I meant. It's been a while since I've used those darn things.

Alot of Molle pouches have webbing on the back of the pouch, usually offset from the Pals webbing on the vest or whatever platform you're attaching it to, to allow you to weave the attachment strap between webbings for a more secure placement. This can also allow secure attachment to a Pistol Belt if so desired, without having to worry about the pouch bouncing around or moving about unassisted.

I reckon I'll need to get a molle pouch and just try it out.
