Does anyone know who produces the uniform in the picture? Pioneer? Cato Ringstad? The question is mostly for the norwegian users on the forum...

Haven't got a clue as to who produces, or where to buy the above. Only know the pattern is brand new, and IMO it's pretty much about time something like this showed up, instead of using US pattern stuff.
My best advice for obtaining one would be to know someone in FIST/H who could supply you... I'm guessing the TS is quite high for the time being, as so few have been produced. If you do find a vendor, i'd appreciate if you could notify me. I'm off trying to get one myself ;)

The producer of the uniform is Øglænd Pioner Arbeidstøy and is called M2003.

To be honest I think the colours on the Norwegian dessie contrast too much.
With the green "home" uniforms FFI went to great lengths making colour spectrum studies of Norwegian terrain, and ended up with a colour combination, which in effectiveness on green terrain is rivaled only by some of the cammo patterns of our Finnish brothers.
The secret behind the effectivenes of the Norwegian green cammo is that the colours in the mix blend.
The same cannot be said about the Norwegian dessert cammo. Look how those dark green plotches stick out. And besides it reminds med of the plotch pattern cammo uniform used by some of the Egyptian para and commando units during the Yom Kippur war.
My 2 cents is that the terrain colour spectrum analysis have not been employed in the design of the cammo pattern of the Norwegian dessert uniform. It's more of a hasty make up .
But then, unlike you, I have not used the thing on active ops "on location", so I should maybe not be so negative on it.

It would have been great if anyone has pics of them in use.
You know... when they get down and dirty ;)
Patterns tend to blend better when the desert sand and dust wears down the colours a little.
Edit : A lot of norwegian soldiers has used US Tricolour and Six colour (choc-chip) dcu's though.
Edit#2:
I can't find a bigger version of this one. :(

Yes basically everything they have is norwegian except for their patches, and they were also trained by Norwegians in Norway.
And they are called "Peace guards" as they aren't members of an actual Icelandic army... Maybe the wizards in our parliament will fix that later...

Nice pics you got there... even an Icelandic Majór...
This is probably the only thing Icelanders are really good at, driving big jeeps over mankilling terrain...
Anyways, those pics must have been taken in Norway... doesn't look like Afg, and we really don't have that many trees in Iceland...

I'm afraid not, their pics are insanely elusive...
except for these olde ones though... but they are probably already posted here on mp.net, and then I remember some others that are in some threads around here...

Funny thing, if I try to google anything concerning these guys, I get like bunches of stupid violent-pacifist leftist-green anti-NATO anti-everything-actually pages that denounce the "Icelandic army..."

In that last picture the two guys on the left are norwegian ;)
The one in the middle (Norwegian major) was the first norwegian officer to recieve a medal of some sort from Iceland.

There was a documentary on Norwegian tv (NRK1) some weeks ago about the Icelandic "forces", and I do believe some of the guys in these pics were in it. Not surprising really, the odds are pretty good that they were considering the size of the Icelandic forces (armed or peace or whatever...).
Got some more pictures of norwegians in desert camo:
