:(

The Swedes played like the Finns use to play. They had a lead and relaxed and
fokked up. The Finns always always do that, and it looks like the Swedes are not
much better. Didn´t like that they had Forsberg and the other divas in so much.
Great players of course, but hm, they want the puck, not play ice hockey. Hm.

I felt that when the Canadians stepped up the physical pressure Sweden backed down and our defensive play in our own zone was mediocre at best...

Sweden is an amazing hockey country.
But when it comes to Canadian hockey, its hit hard or go home.

True, true...there weren't a lot of Swedish players on the ice that was ready to step up and both receive and, more importantly, dish out some beatings...

:D
You got some good hitters. But your in short supply compared to Canada.

Yeah, the physical play is something the Swedish team always had some difficulties with...but as you said...we have some big guys on the team but they backed down today.

The Finland - Canada game was better, the Finns stood up better than the Swedes
did today, and they lost in sudden death, no shame in that. The Swedish league
is too defensive and technical in my opinion. The Finnish league is more of a NHL copy
where they try to be aggressive and everything. The Swedish league better move
towards that direction. The Forsberg´s are already 30 year old and will not be around
for ever.

Will be interesting to see World Cup this summer, when the best of the best will meet.

That game f00kin sucked.

We were great in the 1st period, but thereafter Canada played our socks off...

Apart from a very f00ked up tackle by Niedermeyer, Good Game canucks. You deserved that win.

How many of the Swedish players are in the NHL?

And we deserved to play such a great team as Sweden.
