English James Bond or American Jason Bourne???

i find Bourne better as character

Bond remembers everything, Bourne only tries to.. Modern D.Craig - Bond has a huge potential, gets closer again to the real I.Flemings James Bond. That's what real Bond is, not just a playboy doll to advertise commercial products.

btw. D.Craig is a really good actor, I just found out, that I'lll be filming (minor german/soviet soldier part) in the same movie as he - The Defiance.

The Bourne character from the books is wayyyyy more bad ass than Matt Damon. The books are so much more complex, naturally, and have way better story lines. Bourne is about killing and getting his life back whereas Bond just wants some poon.

X2. The Spy Who Loved Me was my first Bond movie and about an hour and a half after I first saw it I was in the toy store making my mom buy me a little white die-cast metal Lotus that turned into a submarine and shot little red rockets out the back. Bad ass.

Daniel Craig was killer as the new Bond.
I grew up watching James Bond Movies and Rogere Moore was my "current" James Bond.. (Insert joke about CJ having Sean Connery as his)

I had serious doubts about how they would pull off reinventing Bond with Daniel Craig but sheesh they did damn well and Craig was the dogs bollocks.

I also like the Jason Bourne character, and the movies are real good.

But in the ultimate comparison Bond wins because he gets more Puss_y therefore the best secret agent

Overall I've enjoyed the Bourne movies more than the recent Bond flicks as they seem more contemporary and plausible.

James Bond is a cartoon. Still, I never miss a film and enjoyed most of Casino Royale even if the ending was lame.

As for the real Bond, I thought both Connery and Moore were great... complete opposites, but Moore made some excellent campy Bond films.

Has a certain copy-cat ring to it.

And since James even managed to seduce P*ssy Galore, he's the man.

Bourne hates his life, whereas Bond loves his. Bourne is the anti-hero, Bond the stock hero. But the clincher for me is the intense almost robotic focus Bourne has when he is "operating". You can just see a person totally aware and totally tuned into what he has to do, Bond seems to merely deviate from partying and scoring chicks to do his work.

Bond, James Bond.. rox! Bourne movies are more action movies and not that much about the character. But like both, I have to see the Bourne Ultimatum and I am planing to get Ludlums books some day. At the moment Im reading book of THE BEST movie in 2007, the Perfume.

Bourne wasn't the first American based spy film hero ,The legendary Actor James Couburn RIP played Flint in a series of films .. which were created in response to the succes fo Bond ..

Bourne will never have the outlasting appeal of Bond ...

Connery and Moore were the best Bonds who played in the best Bond movies with the hottest Bond girls and had no real problem finishing their objectives.

Bourne just had bad luck but was tough as hell and seriously knocked down doors and took some names.

I like Bond better but Bourne was also a damn good series.
