Surplus Store on Vancouver Island

Yep there is one in victoria, Comox is a military base so there has got to be one there. That should give you a start.

There's nothing in Comox, except the Canex. There's also a Canex in Naden, and then the Command Post down near the Victoria harbour.

If you come to Vancouver though you can find a dozen or so...

Not really, my advice would be to save your money, cause we have nothing here you cant possibly get else-were for way cheaper. Vancouver Island surplus stores, are horrible.

With that said, there is a suplus store in Coombs just outside of Parksville (located conviently underneath the bong shop). Its in by the "tourist market" there, I am sure you wouldnt be able to miss it (red roof). I am sure you will have some good laughs.

A little off topic yet on topic. I travel from Australia for business a few times a year to places like Lincoln Nebraska and Kansas City Kansas. Am also looking at going to Amarillo Tx next time.

Appologies in advance but any suggestsion for surplus stores around these places?

I tried finding some in Kansas City last time but didnt have much luck.
