I'm afraid i'll have to disagree there. From what i gather, they are using Norge kit.
I don't really want to do a listup of why, how and what socks etc, but they are Norwegian...
The vest, btw, is the new thing that's on it's way in.
What i'm wondering about is what unit this is, the snow lads that is. The first thing that came to mind was GP, but AFAIK, they have yet to be issued the really new stuff. They could be something as lo-fi as the SVI equipment test unit doing trials and drills on new stuff.
The woodland peeps are SF something, most likely MJK. The bottom pic, i believe, was taken on a CSAR excercise here in Norway.
I'm clueless.
Grim, where and when did you find the snow piccies?

Nah, they'd be wearing Levis, to be more specific, 501's! Also black t-shirts.
You should know that!!!

I'm Norwegian, and YES, those soldiers are too. They are all "Marinejegers" (similar to SEALS, but not quite=).
Just look at the URL of the picture. Still don't believe they are Norwegians, Guttorm???

The rifle in the first picture is a Diemaco SFW (Special Forces Weapon, a more "beefy" spec ops version of the C8), fitted with a H&K AG36 launcher and an Aimpont sighting system, commonly used by Norwegian Paras and Marines.
There are no M4 rifles in any of these pics, only Diemaco SFWs.
The white vests are manufactured by www.nfm.as, official supplier of tactical clothing to the Norwegian army.
The picture at the bottom is from a recent exercise.

Well... Ok....
I AM just an amature at this so... :) Haven't got too much experience with the diemaco's. I've only seen MJK in action using MP-5's. :)
But I admit defeat! :D
What's the gun on the first pic? Looks like a Finnish Valmet.
I wouldn't be so sure about it :) --> that's Valmet/Sako m95 assault rifle http://world.guns.ru/assault/valmet_95_762.jpg

What's the gun on the first pic? Looks like a Finnish Valmet.IMHO it is a 5,56mm M4A1 (or C8) carbine with 40mm German grenade launcher AG36.

Escobar,
(this name remember me something bad......, mmhhh....)
excuse my ignorance but in what they are so different ?
Just because the M4 is made in USA and the C8/Diemaco is made in Canada under license ?
Barrel lenght ?
Caliber ?
Lower receiver ?
Upper receiver ?
Handgrip ?
Collapsable stock ?
Flash hider ?
craftmanship ?
Refinishing ?
Just curious........., let me know
