Question for polish guys here . Why the hell would a group of people attack a graduating class ? What the hell is the motive ? Were these guys drop outs or flunkies ? Just curious .

Just stuns me though , what the hell would motivate 100 people to attack a graduating class of students ? Never heard of anything like that . I can't imagine 100 guys and girls hanging out and saying " Hey all let's grab some weapons and head on over to the College and beat the **** out of everyone graduating this year , that would be fun eh ? they had no motives,like other hooligans all around the world.they wanted to destroy something and they choosed they target.stupid.stupid.stupid.we need american cops here.People here are shocked.all TV informations are about these events.I don't know what I can say more.sad days in my country :(

I really can't say that i can remember any country that had such a problem or random incident of this scale . There must have been a rivaly or something . I don't care what country it is , how much booze was involed if any , i just can't see a that many people gather for no reason and do what they did . Crazy . It's says in the article it was the first time in the schools history so i guess it is a shock but damn , there must be some underlying hate there for this to happen . Wierd . no,you don't understand...of course there is a lot of hate among them but they hate everything.I don't know how to explain,even in polish but they (because they are connected with one of our football teams) can demolish stadium of their own club even when their club wins :)they don't think,they simply don't have any jobs and they are poor people.all what they have is their "band" - something what can be common for them.so probably they knew there there was a concert and they stated that it was good occasion to beat somebody.just like that.

and what is worse - these people who died was killed by a police :(((,not by these bandits. :(

24 slugs were issued instead of rubber slugs police realized what is going on after firing 5 of them...(19 were immediatelly removed from weapons) you know **** happens sometimes... (those police guys were young and probably never used rubber ammo before (for training live ammo is used on range...).So nobody noticed diference in weight. 12g shells are usualy red in poland and only black description on them allows to recognize...

As for hooligans yes they were band of assholes who should be erradicated... they do not like students since they hate everything that is better than them, most of them dont have even high shool.... all what they know is hate.

First of all: there was a footbal game that day in Lodz, and after this game fans of the local club were looking for "adventure" - as usual in Poland.
They found it in the campus. The greatest mistake was made by university - they know that there will be the game this day. It was so easy to change date of the "great party".

AFAIK - campus security ran away when clashes began.

And third - policeman f***ed the "peacemaking".

Sad, but maybe somebody will think it over. Lots of polish security companies employees are worth ****. Police is underfunded, bad equiped and bad trained (not all - but many).

RIP to the victims , but why we have to learn on such tragic mistakes again.
