Congratulations BattleStar Galactica!!

MP.net D-U-M-B-A-R-S-E of the WEEK
for August 13-20th, 2007
woot

A prime example of:

"I don't need no stinkin' search feature"

your right, I wont post pictures again
*sniff*

Why? Why do you do this to new members? Why is it a problem to make a new thread? Is it costing you money that I posted a new thread? Have all of these pictures been posted before in the other threads?

1) New Members are usually the ones that don't search first. You have ~296 posts, not a new member.

2) What is the problem with a new thread when another or even others have the exact same content!?
That one answers itself.

3) Quite a few have been posted before, did you bother to follow the links I provided?

Please tell me, how much did it cost you? I will pay you back, because I understand posting a picture thread is a big problem.

Best summed up by digrar:

The message isn't getting through, the mods are getting frustrated and the penalties are getting tougher, have a think before you hit the submit button, "Am I prepared to have a two week sit on the sidelines by posting this?"

It doesn't count unless Ngati does it. And he can't grant Special Constable status to just anyone, let alone a mod.

I've had this BattleStar Galactica guy pegged for about 2 months now. The guy is a little bitch. He doesn't handle criticism well at all.

Oh yes I can.

BattleStar Galactica was on the DA list this week, amongst quite a few others.

I dunno, man. Battlestar is a DA, but when you have users like Typhooner walking around, Battlestar's Dumbarse-ness looks a tad pale in my opinion:
http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=117315&page=5

swings and roundabouts, i guess.
Charity on one hand, and death and destruction on the other.

If an economic crash humbles the neocon agenda for PNAC - then good.
The US at the moment is the greatest contributor to world instability at the moment - and it ought to be reigned in. Unfortunately - the american people don't seem to be capable of this - and we all know that in the end: money is what makes the world go round. If the US runs out of money it can't pursue instability in the way it has been doing.

They do but not to the extent of the US. At least not now. America has been sowing world instability: picking fights with China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and god knows who else; ignoring the international community; pursuing unilateral policies, trade wars and illegal invasions. And it's all coming to a head. The US has got itself into a pickle - and now the weight of displeasure of the wider world is starting to bear down on it. There's only so much pushing one can do, before others start to push back.

This just displaces a typical arrogance which is not uncommon in your part of the world.

Why would i want to immigrate to the United States. I am not an impoverished mexican or a starving African. I am quite content with my life and no - I don't believe the sun revolves around America. It seems as the US becomes weaker those that are in denial, become more and more defensive.

I hear yeah. One should not make jive like this with members you do not agree with.
No I do not like your opinion. I got a Masters in International Relations, and I can tell you that your opinion is just that...an opinion. So until you bring something else, like hard facts, books, thesis, etc to the table instead of constant whinging, I will continue to dismiss your opinion.
so you went to the supermarket and bought a roll of toilet paper?

Congratulations!

I've only been here a short time but is it usually this bad or is it just a seasonal thing like a few people have suggested with the kids being out of school? Seems like quite a few people have gotten the boot this past week.

Its definetly got worse in the last week, seems there maybe a few banned members coming back to make crap threads for the sake of it, I'm not staff so thats pure speculation, but it seems that way.

I used to help run a profile site that had a forums, it was pretty popular and got website of the year, it was bad enough with 16 year olds on there, then they dropped the age requirments even lower, the levels of stupidty on there were just amazing, and I had to quit being staff as I couldnt hold back on ripping the pee out of the dumbarses anymore, and it was frowned upon if done by mods or admins. I ended up going from being staff to having a full site ban pretty quickly, not allowed to offend anyone there :)

The politics and religion section was funniest, almost weekly you would get some kid who had just watched loose change and wanted to share there amazing revelations :D

Thanks for the answers guys. It is pretty amazing how worked up some people can get on some of these discussions, but most of what I've read on here has been informative if not funny.

do people actually put their real age on the sign up when they want to get onto a forum?

then again, the ones that coulunt figure out they can change the date would be the stupider ones i guess

you'd be amazed, when the age was 16, people would select that as it was the lowest you could select, but then on there profile you'd find things like

"Ag3 : A babi th1rT33n"

or

"bin on diz wurld : th1rT33n y3arz"

If a site doesn't have a required age, then yes, most people will put their real age. From my experience.
