A United States-based animal rights organisation says it will complain to a Hamas-run television channel about a program that showed cats and lions being mistreated at a zoo in the Gaza Strip.
PETA criticised Al Aqsa TV for a children's program that showed a person dressed in a bee costume swinging cats around by their tails and throwing stones at lions.
The images were followed by a warning from the show's host that children should never treat animals in such a cruel way.

That show encourages children to become suicide bombers, but what bothers these people is the treatment of animals?!
i like animals like the next guy, but come on....

Ignorant fools. Peta blocked some chicken trucks here once headed for the Tyson plant. I think it was when the infamous chicken torture video came out.
It is telling how much value they place on human life, next thing you know they will protest a dog being to close to a IED in some video out of Iraq. If they have not done so already.

I think some have a hard time understanding that PETA is a animal advocacy group, and not too interested in human rights abuses.
Just one more piece of bad news coming out of Gaza. As soon as I read "Gaza" I automatically expect bad news. It would be nice to read or see something positive. eg IDF soldier returned alive; literacy and numeracy rates increasing amongst local youth; economic prosperity becoming a reality (I'm linking higher average wealth with less inclination towards militantcy).

That vid was one of the more bizarre things I have seen come out of the radical Islamic movement - a dude in a bee costume swinging cats around, and throwing rocks at lions.

Why have cats in a zoo is beyond me.
P.S. the part where he throws stones on the lions in a small cage-very symbolic.
Man I wish that Lion got hold of his dumbass, I thought crazy stuff like this only came from japan.

They're an animal rights group.
It's their job to be worried about animals, not humans. There are separate aid organizations for people that don't care for animals. You don't see the Red Cross building animal hospitals and delivering dog food to starving strays either.

X2 they have their agenda and they follow it rigorously, I wish other organizations had the same zeal.

Poor animals...
Kudos to PETA because this is the first time Pallywood has received such media publicity and world attention. If it takes some radical animal rights group to bring attention to root causes of all violence there, then it's not as bad.
I only wish U.N. and other HUMAN rights groups would be just as radical in standing up and criticizing daily "children's rights " violations from Hamas and all other Palestinian movements. I guess in todays world picking a cat by its tail is worse than teaching a child to blow your self up for Allah.

PETA take on HAMAS seems a reasonable and fair match to me, let battle commence.

The sad truth is that the PETAtards only problem with this terrorist organization is swinging a few cats on TV.
