My body weight + 50 pounds for 5 reps. I find it more impressive if someone can bench press 100 pounds more than their own body weight.

i can bicep curl 120..
but i try to focus on triceps for the arms more. biceps are only 1/4 the muscles in your arm. trcieps are 3/4.
I bench up to 225 working from 180.

Stay lean man. If your lean your fast. Being 135 means your probably gonna be a lean guy for a while. Work smaller weights to keep your muscles strong but dont get bigger. You dont wanna lose your speed.

Definitely, that's why I balance my workouts with both weightlifting and aerobic workouts, mainly running. Body fat % decreases, while strength, speed, and most importantly endurance increase.

Fat has very little to do with preventing hypothermia. Cold water is the most common cause of hypothermia, yes, but it can occur as a result of bitterly cold weather too. Have you ever shivered? That's a very early stage of hypothermia. It only becomes dangerous when you stop shivering and lose motor movement in your extremities. It's not fun, trust me. Been there, done that.

Anyway, sorry that I hijacked the thread. Carry on.

I can do 2miles in about 12minutes.
I rarely run 1mile.
Lately ive been having to do the exercise bike due to some shin splint problems. But those have cleared up in the last 2 weeks and im waiting another 2 weeks before i start up the running again.

Apparently last i heard he was trying out for one of the special units. Probably Golani.

Yeah 16 and 17 year olds are really going to drop dead from running a milea few years back a 10year old died of a heart attack during gym class.
you could have a heart attack running a mile as well.
Its just fat people are more ****e to these things.
I cant see how u can find humour in an obese person having trouble running that mile.
Do you have any idea what kind of pain he would be in afterwards?
not to mention his emotional state from people like you teasing him?
Your lucky someone like me wasnt in your class. I would tease you for being a frigging bean stalk.
try looking at both sides of the spectrum. it will hopefully make you a better person.

Left arm actually.

EvanL

in olden times left handers were considered the devil..

i have an extended scapula on my left side, thats the part of your shoulder blade that sticks out. Mine sticks out too far.
It grows at half the speed of my right. But i perform certain weight lifting exercises which evens it out, making my left arm stronger than my right even though it is a bit smaller in size.

Well, 5:23, but that was two years ago when I was a sprinter and put in a mile race near the end of the year. I'm probably a four-minute miler (4:xx) about now, but I never timed myself. My splits for miles on my runs are really nice. I was getting 7 minute splits, which is fantastic. If I can get my split times below 6:00, then I'm golden for at least a 4:45 mile, maybe 4:30.
