"I too, have detected the movement of the dark forces against the great savior of our nation, Ron Paul!"

I was actually going to watch the video with an open mind until within the first 30 seconds the conspiracy theories appeared. Also, you gotta love it that the idiot who made the stupid video has PrisonPlanet bookmarked as a favorite. rofl

Note to Ron Paul & Friends, if you want widespread support, don't play the conspiracy theory card, because when you have a foaming at the mouth base like that, it tends to deter people.

Not surprised maybe if he toned down on all the images and videos he might not have had his account blocked for phishing, has nothing to do with Ron Paul. p-)

They removed a few videos I produced about the democrats previous stances on the Iraq war.

Even worse on Hardball last night, They edited out one of the pundits attacking naci pelosi. They actually edited it out and spliced footage.

Sigh - Well a friend of mine works in abuse at myspace. If you pm me i can put you in contact with him directly if you think theres some conspiracy.

Now, let me explain what happened in this video.

The guy is using copy and pasted html code with embedded images and links. Anyone who uses myspace and its technology knows that links to anything in myspace posts these days go through the msplinks.com domain. Therefore, if i post www.ronpaul.com/voteforme - that link will be rewritten as something like www.msplinks.com/344trfefe4r43rfedfsdr4red. Now any link in any msp posting is sent to this seperate database and cross referenced based on its encoding (md5 i think).

If this same link and image is seen repatedly by the msplinks domain it starts to look like a spammer. Especially when it originates from multiple accounts. So people using 'bulletin templates' are actually making themselves look like spammers/phished accounts. HTML tags and the like make bulletin tags 'score higher' on the possible spam scale.

It's not really possible to programmatically determine wether that message is a ron paul spam, or a ****o spam. On that same note, if myspace were to put an ignore filter on any political postings, the spammers would put viagra and dating ads into ron paul posts.

Bulletin posts are doubly checked over personal profile code because it instantly goes live to all of the accounts - spammers paradise.

all the user needs tod o is contact myspace, assure them they arent spam, attach them the source of the message, and they will be unphished.

You may now return to your conspiracy theories...

You do know that if he were to post that same bulletin, substituting 'Ron Paul' for 'Barack Obama' with the applicable videos, images, etc., it too would be blocked? They have a problem with people using other users' accounts to post spam. Not everything is The Gub'mint/Republicans/Democrats/Aliens/Scientologists/Squirrels censoring Ron Paul.

I'm pretty sure if they wanted to censor him and his supporters, they could just make it so that his profile password gets out and he puts out those annoying "OMG! FREE RINGTONES!!!11!!oneone!" bulletins. Or they could just "whoops! We deleted it!"

Already, you conspiracy theorists have hit the wiki.

Censorship

MySpace has also been accused of censorship [citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources)] by a number of political websites which claims that all links to its website that contain references to 2008 U.S. Presidential candidate Ron Paul (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Paul) are automatically removed,[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources)] and that as a subsidiary of News Corporation it has been attempting to manipulate public opinion. A MySpace moderator admitted that the references to the site were filtered out, but insisted that it was because it was perceived as spam. [citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources)]
Sites such as VidiLife.com, Revver.com, Photobucket.com, Stickam.com, VideoCodeZone.com, Imeem.com, ProjectPlaylist.com, Hoooka.com, and others have been censored by MySpace.com.[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources)]MoveOn.org (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MoveOn.org) launches anti-censorship campaign against MySpace for the censoring of user-generated content (http://www.civic.moveon.org/pdf/myspace/).
MySpace has recently been censoring certain keywords on users profiles such as 'abortion'.[citation needed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources)]

Hahahahahaha, oops! OK. I got it.:) I just get a little touchy about any kind of censorship regardless of whether or not I agree with them, especially Paul, as he's been censored before
Not to mention I had a pretty serious buzz on last night and I get all emotional and bristle easily.
I apologize if anyone committed suicide over this.;-)
