A hidden world in which Asian men “groom” young white girls for *** has been exposed with the jailing yesterday of two men for child-abuse offences.
Zulfqar Hussain, 46, and Qaiser Naveed, 32, from east Lancashire, were each jailed for five years and eight months after exploiting two girls aged under 16 by plying them with alcohol and drugs before having *** with them.
Both men pleaded guilty at Preston Crown Court to abduction, ****** activity with a child and the supply of a controlled drug.
Despite being told explicitly by police and social services that both girls were under-age and should be returned to care, the men picked up one girl from a children’s home in Blackburn and then drove on to collect her friend who was living in temporary foster care in North Wales.

Naveed, from Burnley, gave one girl the first of five Ecstasy tablets at a motorway service station before having *** with her on the back seat of the car while the group drove back to Lancashire. The court was told that the two men later took the girls to an address in Blackburn where Hussain, from Blackburn, had *** with the second girl and gave her a total of ten Ecstasy tablets.

Yesterday Judge Andrew Gilbart, QC, jailed the two Asian men under new *** laws designed to protect youngsters from being groomed for ****** activity. Judge Gilbart said: “This is a truly shocking offence. You knew them. They were exploited for *** by the two of you. No other description is possible. They were under-age girls who you knew it was your responsibility to protect and not exploit.”

The trial came amid growing concern at the attitudes of some Asian men towards white girls which campaigners for women claim few people wish to address.
Parents have complained that in parts of the country with large Asian communities white girls as young as 12 are being targeted for *** by older Asian men yet the authorities are unwilling to act because of fears of being labelled racist.
Ann Cryer, a Labour member of the Commons Home Affairs Select Committee, has been at the forefront of attempting to tackle the problem after receiving complaints from mothers in her constituency about young Asian men targeting their under-age daughters.
Although campaigners claim that hundreds of young girls are already being passed around men within the Asian community for ***, she said that attempts to raise the problem with community leaders had met with little success, with most of them being in a state of denial about it.

After the case, the mother of one of the girls, who cannot be named for legal reasons, welcomed the jail terms. “This will hopefully act as a warning to others,” the woman said. She had had to leave the court as details of the men’s ****** relations with the teenagers were read out. After the trial, Ms Cryer said that young Asian men were caught between two cultures having been brought up in a Western society in families while retaining the cultural values of the Asian sub-continent.
She said: “The family and cultural norms of their community means they are expected to marry a first cousin or other relative back in a village in Mirapur or wherever the family comes from. Therefore, until that marriage is arranged they look out for ***.
“At the point in their lives when they are ready for this sort of activity, Asians cannot go to Asian girls because it would be a terrible breach of the honour of the community and their family to have *** with an Asian girl before marriage.” She said that the reason Asian men targeted very young white girls was because older white girls knew that a relationship with an Asian youth was unlikely to last as the community would seek an arranged marriage with someone from the Asian sub- continent. Police and groups campaigning to protect women insisted that the grooming of youngsters is not segregated along race lines, though there is concern at the attitudes of some young Asian men towards white girls.

Parents claim that criminal networks are able to prey on young girls because the authorities are reluctant to tackle the issue for fear of upsetting race relations in areas of the North West with large ethnic minority communities.
However, Ms Cryer added: “I think there is a problem with the view Asian men generally have about white women. Their view about white women is generally fairly low. They do not seem to understand that there are white girls as moral and as good as Asian girls.”

Speaking as someone who is a frequent visitor to the Indian sub continent I can say that racial attitudes there will take much longer to change than those in Europe's native population.

Maybe its not the same where you live, but here in the US its a popular idea that only white people can be racist. Just a few night ago, Chris Mathews even said "70% of Americans beleive that only whites can be racist.....yeah, its not about hurting feelings".

The outrage shouldn't be about the Asian mens' views towards white women as racist, the outrage should be at the fact that we in the Westren societies no longer place a higher value tag on women compared to the past. When we start to treat women as *** meat in the media or in bars on weekends, the message is not a good one for the youth or anyone.

How come no one asks the question as to why 16 year olds girls go ahead drinking and taking drugs; I guess these have become the standard norms of family values in our western societies. Also what's funny is that the law was applied only because they were minors.

Whatever its outcome on the battlefield, the War on Terror has had at least one beneficial result: a large share of the American public has realized that their elites are biased. Ever since 2002, we have been subjected to a welter of hysterical and inflated complaints about imperialism, the treatment of enemy combatants, wiretapping, and so forth, coming from academics, celebrities, politicians, and the news media. This hateful din has convinced Americans that the perspective of their ruling class is fundamentally skewed.
The bias that Americans are perceiving is the “whites as cancer” myth. As defined in the inaugural article (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/feature/feature/the_inverted_world/) of this site, this myth consists of the belief that:
Whites are the only “racist” race. That is, they are the only race that has historically believed itself superior to other races; this belief has led whites to treat other races in a uniquely cruel manner.
White racism and imperialism are the primary explanation for the failings of non-whites.According to the myth, the Nazis expressed the essence and natural endpoint of Western culture (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/the_origin_of_the_myth/). Accordingly, the elites think America is little better than Nazi Germany and desperately search for parallels. They view America as a country that persecutes minorities, represses freedom of expression, and treats non-whites abroad with the callous indifference of a master race.
The majority of white Americans can see how crazed this fantasy is. While there are perfectly good reasons to oppose the continuation of the Iraq War and other aspects of the War on Terror, there is no parallel at all between Nazi Germany and a country where airlines can be sued for refusing to let Arabs board and enemy detainees can challenge their detention in the courts (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A12017-2004Jun28.html). The magnitude of the distortion has led to a whole conservative industry exposing bias in the news media, the entertainment industry, and the academy.

The conservative critique of bias has not yet, however, gone to the heart of the matter. Although the conservatives expose bias everywhere, they call it anti-Americanism without recognizing its racial basis.
Lt. Col. Robert “Buzz” Patterson’s War Crimes (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0307338266/ref=nosim/theinvwor-20): The Left’s Campaign to Destroy the Military and Lose the War on Terror is a perfect illustration of the strengths and weaknesses of the conservative critique of bias. He gives copious evidence of the elites’ routine and mindless misrepresentations of the U.S. military and the War on Terror. However, he characterizes the anti-war movement as “anti-American and antimilitary”1 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-1) while his own examples make clear that it is American whites and the West as a whole that is really under attack. The very word “imperialism,” constantly on the lips of anti-war liberals, places the War on Terror in a distinctively Western tradition.
One of the key fallacies that Patterson exposes is the belief that American non-whites suffer a disproportionate share of casualties in wartime. The implication is that the American military is the product of a racist society that has no concern for minority lives.

The claim has been a liberal stand-by ever since Vietnam. John Kerry (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/why_the_whites_as_cancer_myth/) in his 1971 testimony before the Senate alleged that “blacks provided the highest percentage of our casualties.” Patterson makes clear that this canard is still beloved of television talking heads.2 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-2)
The allegation continues to be made about the military. For example, Charles Rangel said, “the disproportionately high representation of the poor and minorities in the enlisted ranks has been documented.” Michael Moore in Fahrenheit 9/11 portrays military recruiters targeting minority areas.3 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-3) Such beliefs are one of the bedrock tenets of the campus-protesting crowd: “Our military is racist, homophobic, sexist and screwing people,” said one protester in 2005 at San Francisco State University.4 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-4)
This piece of conventional wisdom has never been true (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/vietnam_and_the_whites_as_cancer_myth/). Blacks were 13.5 percent of the draft-eligible population during the Vietnam War, but represented just 10.6 percent of soldiers. Today, the racial makeup of new recruits to the military is almost exactly the same as that of the country as a whole.5 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-5) Furthermore, blacks and Hispanics are underrepresented among war casualties: they make up 9.5 percent of casualties in Iraq, but 15 percent of the adult population.6 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-6)
Liberals also view the War on Terror as a white supremacist war in the tradition of Western imperialism. Columbia University professor Nicholas de Genova said at an anti-Iraq War teach-in in 2003:
U. S. patriotism is inseparable from imperial warfare and white supremacy. U. S. flags are the emblem of the invading war machine in Iraq today… . The only true heroes are those who find ways to defeat the U.S. military.7 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-7)
MIT professor Noam Chomsky, the guru of the anti-war left, also sees the war this way. In Imperial Ambitions, a collection of interviews with Chomsky, the interviewer asks whether the Iraq War is a continuation of Western imperialist policies based on the ideas “of the Herrenvolk and the Master Race.” Chomsky consents without reservation: “Racism is inherent in imperial rule—it’s almost invariable.”8 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-8) Columbia professor Edward Said also made the link between the War on Terror and Nazism. U.S. policy, he said, was the work of a “small cabal … avenging the Judeo-Christian god of war.” America was guilty of “reducing whole peoples, countries and even continents to ruin by nothing short of a holocaust.”9 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-9)
Some of the most shameless slanders of the U.S. have concerned its treatment of enemy detainees. Here too comparisons to Nazis abound, and not just among marginal figures, but among the high and mighty. For example, Senator **** Durbin said, on the basis of uncorroborated e-mail on activities at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp:
If I read this [e-mail] to you and did not tell you that it was … describing what Americans have done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by the Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime—Pol Pot or others—that had no concern for human beings.10 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-10)
Durbin’s is only one voice in the chorus of lamentation over Guantanamo Bay. Jimmy Carter has said that the “torture” of prisoners there proves that Americans believe the enemy to be “subhuman.”11 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-11)
Patterson shows how mild military interrogation techniques actually are. They include horrors like poking detainees in the chest in a “mild, noninjurious” fashion, “light pushing,” and repeating the same question. Even the notorious waterboarding merely consists of pouring water over a detainee to induce a drowning sensation. U.S. soldiers go through the same and worse as part of their training.12 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-12)
Patterson also documents the news media’s negativity towards the Iraq War. For example, a survey conducted in January 2005 found 1,992 stories on suicide bombings and other terrorist attacks and 887 stories about the abuse of Iraqi prisoners by British soldiers, but only 16 about success in the fight against terrorists and seven relating to positive developments relating to the upcoming Iraqi elections. When Iraqi voters ratified the new constitution in October 2005, the Washington Post put the story on page A13 with the disconsolate headline: “Sunnis Failed to Defeat Iraq Constitution: Arab Minority Came Close.” The stories on the front page were “Military Has Lost 2,000 in Iraq,” “Bigger, Stronger Homemade Bombs Now to Blame for Half of U.S. Deaths,” and “Bush Aides Brace for Charges.”13 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-13)
This negativity is clearly also based in the “whites as cancer” myth. The news media focus on events like Abu Ghraib that make American troops seem like imperialist oppressors. The New York Times ran no fewer than 50 above-the-fold articles on this troubling, but insignificant, event while burying stories about bravery in battle deep in the paper.14 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-14)

Patterson illustrates the skewed perspective that underlies such coverage through the example of Eason Jordan, former Chief News Executive for CNN. In 2004, the man told a group of journalists that he “knew of about 12 journalists who had not only been killed by American troops, but had been targeted as a matter of policy.”15 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-15) There was never any evidence for this view, and Jordan resigned his post shortly after. However, that a man who believed such things could rise so high in his profession is evidence that journalists are ****e to take seriously any kind of slander against the American military.
Anti-war liberals’ insults against their own people have been accompanied by an eagerness to apologize for the other side of the War on Terror. In 2002, Washington Senator Patty Murray defended Osama bin Laden with these words:
He’s been out in these countries for decades building schools, building infrastructure, building day care facilities …, and people are extremely grateful. He’s made their lives better. Such absurdities also stem from the “whites as cancer” myth, whose partisans believe non-whites are morally superior to whites, and inevitably blame the latter for the former’s troubles (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/utopia_and_its_scapegoats/).
It may seem odd to criticize anti-war liberals for bias against whites when so many of them are white themselves. A political ideology supported people with names like Durbin, Carter, Murray, Moore, and Kerry can hardly be explained as a minority attack on majority America. Rather, the motivation behind this movement is anti-ethnocentric snobbery, discussed here (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/why_the_whites_as_cancer_myth/) and here (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/the_ideology_of_the_professionals/). Snobs of this variety slander their own people in order to make themselves appear broad-minded and intelligent.
Such snobbery is illustrated perfectly by the views of film and television celebrities, who have regularly stigmatized war supporters as ignorant and parochial, in contrast to their own enlightened cosmopolitanism. Michael Moore said in an interview with a British news paper that Americans were “possibly the dumbest people on the planet.”17 (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/column/column/anti_american_or_anti_white#fn-1636-17) Larry Hagman, who played J. R. on Dallas, called Bush “a sad figure—not too well-educated, who doesn’t get out of America much. Conservative critics of anti-American bias have accomplished the crucial task of demonstrating to a large share of the public that we live in an Inverted World (http://inverted-world.com/index.php/feature/feature/the_inverted_world/). They have proved that our elites view America, a country that is shamefully and dangerously indulgent towards non-whites, as the new Third Reich, and at the same time look eagerly for the redeeming virtues of figures like Osama bin Laden. However, the critics of bias have not yet understood the nature of the bias that they are attacking: it is not anti-American, but anti-white. The “whites as cancer” myth still exerts such a powerful sway over the Western mind that the conservatives cannot name it outright and can only denounce it in a mystified form. Hopefully, however, the intense anger provoked by the anti-war movement will eventually force whites to recognize its real motive.

ONE of the government’s senior race relations advisers has criticised communities in some parts of the country for being “unhealthily all white”.

Professor Ted Cantle, who wrote the report on the 2001 riots in Bradford and Oldham, suggested people from ethnic minorities in some parts of the Midlands might not feel “safe and secure” living near predominantly white communities.

Cantle, who has chaired a panel advising ministers on implementing the recommendations of his report, made the remarks in an interview about multiculturalism with a local newspaper last week.

In an apparent reference to Heanor, a predominantly white town in the Amber Valley area of Derbyshire, Cantle said he was concerned about the strength of support for the far-right British National party in some parts of the East Midlands.

He said: “If I was working in Nottingham, I’d be talking to black and ethnic minority communities about how free they feel to exercise choice over where they live, in particular where they feel safe and secure.

“Some of the neighbouring areas of Notts and Derbyshire do seem to be unhealthily all-white. There is some evidence to show they are hostile to black and ethnic minorities.”

In February the BNP came second in a council by-election in Heanor. A few days later Channel Five dubbed it the “skinhead capital of Britain”.

In his 2001 report on the riots in Bradford, Burnley and Oldham, Cantle identified communities living “parallel lives” and highlighted the polarisation of communities with different schools, estates and social lives. He said schools should change their catchment areas to attract a broader mix.

At the time one in four primary schools in Bradford were more than 70% Asian while half were totally white. Cantle opposed single-faith and “monocultural” schools, but ministers ignored his advice.

Last year Trevor Phillips, chairman of the Commission for Racial Equality, warned that unless steps were taken to promote deeper integration, segregation could reach the levels witnessed in New Orleans. He warned that Britain might be “sleepwalking to segregation”.

Cantle’s remarks go further by describing parts of the country as “unhealthily” white, a phrase that critics said this weekend appeared to place the blame for ethnic tensions on the white community.

Local people agree Heanor is predominantly white. But they deny they pose a threat to non-white communities. BERLIN, July 30, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Booklets from a subsidiary of the German government's Ministry for Family Affairs encourage parents to ******ly massage their children as young as 1 to 3 years of age. Two 40-page booklets entitled "Love, Body and Playing Doctor" by the German Federal Health Education Center (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung - BZgA) are aimed at parents - the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.

"Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and ****** of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their ***," reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds. The authors rationalize, "The child touches all parts of their father's body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same."

Canadian author and public speaker Michael O'Brien who has written and spoken extensively about the crisis of culture in the West spoke to LifeSiteNews.com about the shocking and extremely disturbing phenomenon. It is, he said, "State-encouraged incest, which in most civilized societies is a crime." The development is, he suggests, a natural outcome of the rejection of the Judeo-Christian moral order.

"The imposed social revolution that has swept the western world is moving to a new stage as it works out the logical consequences of its view of man's value," said O'Brien. "It is merely obeying its strictly materialist philosophy of man. If man is no more than a creature created for pleasure or power. If he is no more than a cell in the social organism, then no moral standards, no psychological truths, no spiritual truths can refute the 'will to power' and the 'will to pleasure'."

The pamphlet advises parents to permit young children "unlimited masturbation" except where physical injury becomes apparent. It advises: "Children should learn that there is no such thing as shameful parts of the body. The body is a home, which you should be proud of." For ages 4-6, the booklet recommends teaching children the movements of copulation.

Another product of the BZgA is a song book aimed at children of four and slightly older which includes several songs espousing masturbation. The song-book entitled "Nose, belly and bum" includes one song with the following lyrics: "When I touch my body, I discover what I have. I have a ******, because I am a girl. ****** is not only for peeing. When I touch it, I feel a pleasant tingle."

"The wiser and deeper position of most civilizations recognized that children need a period of innocence," commented O'Brien. "Now the state, the German state, is encouraging destruction of this state of innocence," he added. "This is consistent with the materialist philosophy that sees all moral norms and all truths about human nature as repressive. Pleasure and their distorted concept of freedom are their only guiding principles."

According to the Polish daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita, the BZgA booklet is an obligatory read in nine German regions. It is used for training nursery, kindergarten and elementary school teachers. Ironically it is recommended by many organizations officially fighting pedophilia, such as the German Kunderschutzbund. BZgA sends out millions of copies of the booklet every year.

"A society such as Germany's which is already in steep decline, indeed into degeneration, will only inherit the whirlwind of violence and further levels of degradation of their own people," warned O'Brien.

"It has happened before in Germany. It has happened in other nations. Different causes but the same dynamic, the rejection of the moral order of the created universe results in radical evil. The German state intervention in family life is a new level of auto-destruction," said O'Brien.

Rzeczpospolita reports that the Eckhardt Scheffer of BZgA claimed that before releasing the manual the organization consulted parents, educators and child psychologists. 93% of whom gave a positive evaluation.

Even for a Western nation, Germany's billboards and television ads push the limits of public ****ography. Last year LifeSiteNews.com reported that a very popular teen magazine in Germany publishes **** photos of teens in ****** positions which would be in almost any other nation illegal child ****ography.

With a licentiousness as the new morality of the secular materialist establishment and homeschool a forbidden practice, parents in Germany may well wonder what will transpire in public education.

A town is being stripped of scores of public sector jobs because its residents are "too white and British".
The Prison Service is relocating the posts to a nearby city where there are more ethnic minorities.
The incredible decision, which could lead to an investigation by the Commission for Racial Equality, was disclosed yesterday in a leaked official letter.

It is the first known case of its kind, but MPs warned similar moves could secretly be taking place across the country as civil servants are under enormous pressure from ministers to boost the number of ethnic minorities working in the public sector.
The 80 office jobs are being transferred from the depressed former steel town of Corby, in Northamptonshire, to Leicester.

The Tory General Election candidate for the town, which suffers from deprivation and is in desperate need of jobs, wrote to the Prison Service to demand an explanation.
In an astonishing reply, director of finance Ann Beasley - one of Home Secretary John Reid's top civil servants - said the town had too many white British residents.
As a result, it does not satisfy the drive to recruit more ethnic minorities.
Under the heading "key influencing factors", the letter states: "Our ability to attract a more diverse workforce - 93.7 per cent of the population of Corby are white British, compared to 59.6 per cent in Leicester>"
Mrs Beasley also implies Corby's residents are also too stupid to keep the jobs, which are mostly clerical posts buying equipment for the prison service.
She states that 17 per cent of people living in Leicester are qualified to degree level, compared with only nine per cent in Corby.
Furious opposition politicians were stunned by the reply and accused Labour of effectively being racist against whites.

The Conservative's diversity spokesman, Dominic Grieve, said: "This is very worrying. The Government should not be penalising people because of the ethnic make-up of where they live. The Government needs to explain just how widespread this policy is."
Louise Bagshawe, the candidate who received the letter, said: "Labour has controlled Corby council for 23 years and the town is very deprived. We have the lowest wages in Northamptonshire. Now locals are being told that Corby is too British for British jobs."
She added: "I told Ann Beasley our town already has a thriving Polish immigrant community, but she ignored this. Corby is just beginning to turn the corner, but we need good jobs.

"Gordon Brown loves to bang on about Britishness - if he means it, I call on him to reverse this disgraceful policy and tell Corby people they aren't too "white British" for Government jobs."
Kettering's Tory MP Philip Hollobone, whose constituents are also facing job losses, added: "People will be hugely offended that a decision like this is being made on racial grounds."
The Home Office last night stood by the letter, saying that attracting a "more diverse workforce" was a "key factor" in moving the jobs.
Discriminating against somebody on the grounds of race is outlawed by the Race Relations Act 2000.
But the Act does allow public bodies to take "positive action" to meet recruitment targets. In this instance, it would be illegal to say that the jobs must be filled by ethnic minority recruits, but moving to an area where they are more likely to apply for the posts is not illegal.

Staff based at the Crown House building in Corby will lose their jobs on March 19 when the building closes for regeneration work.
It had been assumed the Prison Service would find a new office in the town - which has an above average unemployment rate of 5.7 per cent, compared with 5.2 per cent nationwide. But officials, keen to fall in with Labour's "diversity agenda", seized the opportunity to move jobs to Leicester, one of the UK's most ethnically-mixed cities.
Staff have been given the option of transferring, but few - if any - are expected to agree to the lengthy commute.

A spokesman for the Commission for Racial Equality said that if they receive a complaint from any of the workers involved, they will start a full investigation.
A Prison Service spokesman said: "The potential sale of the property has given Her Majesty's Prison Service the opportunity to look at what provides the best option for the Prison Service and therefore the taxpayer in the medium to longer term.
"The key factors that influenced our decision to relocate to Leicester were the closer proximity to a greater number of prison establishments, better transport links, the ability to recruit professional staff and the ability to attract a more diverse workforce."

Nearly half of all victims of racially motivated murders in the last decade have been white, according to official figures released by the Home Office.The data, released under Freedom of Information legislation, shows that between 1995 and 2004 there have been 58 murders where the police consider a racial element played a key part. Out of these, 24 have been where the murder victim was white.
The disclosure will add to the intense debate over multiculturalism in British society. The figures also overturn the assumption that almost all racial murders are committed against ethnic minority victims.

Senior police officers have admitted that 'political correctness' and the fear of discussing the issue have meant that race crime against white people goes under-reported. One chief constable has claimed that white, working-class men are more alienated than the Muslim community.
Peter Fahy, the Chief Constable of Cheshire and a spokesman on race issues for the Association of Chief Police Officers, said it was a fact that it was harder to get the media interested where murder victims were young white men.
'The political correctness and reluctance to discuss these things absolutely does play a factor', he said. 'A lot of police officers and other professions feel almost the best thing to do is try and avoid it for fear of being criticised. We probably have all got ourselves into a bit of state about this.
'The difficulty in the police service is that the whole thing is being closed down because we are all afraid of discussing any of it in case we say the wrong thing - and that is not healthy.'
Racial violence in Britain has become the subject of intense scrutiny since the public inquiry in 1999 into the murder of black teenager Stephen Lawrence. Most of the high-profile cases of hate crime have been focused on young blacks, including Damilola Taylor and more recently Anthony Walker, who was murdered with an axe at a Liverpool bus stop by white youths.

Yet these latest official figures give the most complete picture of racially motivated murders in the UK, revealing the situation to be much more complex. In March 2004 a white Scottish teenager, Kriss Donald, was bundled into a car while walking in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow. He was later beaten, stabbed 13 times, and set on fire. British Pakistani Daanish Zahid was found guilty by unanimous verdict of the charges of racially aggravated murder.
In the same year Christopher Yates, 30, a white man, was beaten to death in an assault by a group of drunken Asian youths as he walked home in Barking, east London.
Politicians and the authorities often face difficulty in raising the issue of racial attacks on white victims for fear that far-right extremists will try to exploit such events to stir up racial tensions.

Fahy also warned of caution in over-interpreting the figures. He said that the 24 white victims also included those who were Jewish, 'dark-skinned' Europeans or gypsies. In addition, seven of those were killed by white attackers, four by black, six by Asian, with seven whose racial background was not identified.
Police have suggested that some white-on-white killings may be a result of attacks between Scots, English, Irish and Welsh people.
Overall, there have been 10 black victims and 16 Asian victims. Of the 58 race murders, 18 have been where a white attacker has killed a black or Asian individual and another 14 where one member of a minority group has murdered another for racial reasons.

'This shows the complex society we are policing,' said Fahy.
'I will be honest with some of this discussion about the alienation of Muslim people. Police officers would tell you there are a lot of young people out there who feel alienated.
'There are a lot of young white working-class lads, particularly on the more difficult estates, who are hugely alienated. Yet very little attention is given to that.
'Sometimes we forget that ethnic minorities actually make up quite a small percentage of the population.'
Three years ago Phil Woolas, MP for the Oldham East and Saddleworth constituency, who is now Minister for Community Cohesion, said 'political correctness' was stopping racism against white people from being condemned. As a result, he said, attacks on whites by black and Asian people are not criticised by politicians and could harm race relations in Britain.

This weekend Woolas refused to comment, but a spokesman for the Department for Local Communities and Government said: 'Racially motivated crime is wholly abhorrent, whatever the background of the victim.
'This government has worked hard to improve the investigation and prosecution of these crimes across all ethnic groups.'

In 1999 the Commission for Racial Equality published a report that concluded that most racial crimes were committed against white people, although it pointed out that at the time white people made up 94 per cent of the population and that, proportionally, black and Asian people were still far more likely to be victims of race attacks.
The report suggested that white people might also be more likely to report a crime such as a street robbery carried out by a black person as a racial incident.
A spokeswoman for the CRE said the Home Office figures raised some interesting issues but she did not want to comment further until the data could be properly analysed.

I go to India a lot for holidays. My wife has family there. It's great :-)
