(CNN) -- A new audiotape message purportedly from al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and posted on an Islamic Web site Thursday offers 22 pounds of gold to anyone who kills Coalition Provisional Authority head Paul Bremer or top U.S. military officers.

A reward of gold is also offered for anyone who kills U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan or Annan's envoy to Iraq, Ladkhar Brahimi.

Liberals just don't get what Al Queda is all about. Frankly, they don't understand hatred period and never will.

Prior to the UN getting its Baghdad headquarters OBLITERATED, they had turned down a US offer for security at the site. They assume the terrorists/Feyadeen holdouts etc wouldn't target them. How could they? They were the UN after all! They were for Hussein.

Is it liberals like Peter Arnett and Democratic Senators who flew to Baghdad to shill for Saddam Hussein, or conservatives?

Is it liberals that are currently deriding our efforts in both Afghanistan and Iraq (less than 1000 American dead between them, both govts defeated and cruising along) or conservatives?

Liberals have always defined themselves (lately anyway) by detesting this country. What a laugh to see the same people that lauded Clinton for being a "consciencious objector" (read: criminal draft dodger) now having to sing the praises of John Kerry's service.

Liberals in Congress like John Kerry worked overtime to glut our military and intelligence organizations. Liberals whined when Reagan faced up to the Soviet Union, and liberals are whining today when Bush faces up to Hussein and North Korea and doesn't take any crap from anyone.

As for liberals supporting the war in Afghanistan, they had no choice! Bush was going, like it or not, and it would've been political suicide for them to oppose it. Ditto for Iraq, although now they're praying for casualties and calling it a disaster.

Imagine if a liberal like Gore had been in power in the weeks and months after 9-11. When Mullah Omar offered to try Bin Laden in Afghanistan, would Gore have gone after them? Hell no. He would have struck a deal. We merely need look at his boss' actions in Somalia AND Tora Bora to know how they think. They think like liberals, like the UN.

They're beauracrats, nothing more. Leaders...that's something else.

The current rate of gold is US$385/ounce, so 22 lbs is $135,000. Kinda pales in comparison to the $25 on Bin Laden's head, huh? And since you're going to have to find Bin Laden to collect either (whether you're hunting him or just looking for payment), I'd go for the $25 mil myself ;)

Hey dude. I'm a conservative's conservate. Listen to Rush daily, read National Review, follow the most conservative members of Congress on CSPAN and CSPAN2. I've gotten a NY Times OpEd columnist to have to issue a correct for a lie she printed (yes, it was Maureen Dowd) and I ran for city council as a conservative Republican in a land dominated by liberals (NJ). I almost won, amazingly. I even had to fight Republicans to run, as virtually all of them up here are liberals. I was also just let go from my last consulting assignment for having wallpaper on my PC of a special forces soldiers in Afghanistan. The previous consultant had "Gollem" from Lord of the Rings.

Props to that man. Can you believe those idiots? They totally shoot themselves in the foot like a bad cartoon. 911 was idiotic of them! They ran that operation, now over 80 percent of their leadership is either room temperature or behind bars for life. I love this latest example of their stupidity tho. Some soldiers act stupid and take pics w/ naked iraqis and "abuse" them (I've yet to see REAL abuse), and Al Queda responds to this public relations disaster...

One of the great pities about the foolish dunderheads here and the world over who salom to that pompous, feckless, fat bunch of beauracrats and diplomats eating lobster dinners at meeting in African "nations" where the GDP is less than the UN food bill is that they have no idea that it was the UN who backed the newly formed nation of Israel some six decades ago after its formation, as did the United States and the former Soviet Union.

The UN was the organization that was given the mandate of that land after the British left. It was the UN that drew up a Jewish/Arab dual state and a plan for Jerusalem to be an international city. It was the Jordanians (now curiously called "Palestinians" who rejected the plan and began shelling Jerusalem, the Jewish side anyway.

Pathitic that liberals don't even know about this. They know about little beyond their myopic Marxist worldview of haves and have-nots. History they care for not, any more than freedoms.
