where do they use that thing? Only on there peach keeping missions to africa? I mean where else does it go when it is in active service?

Carriers are diplomatic tools as well as weapons.
At least now when the French do something we will know "Where they get De Gaulle to do that?"

it was deployed to the indian ocean in 2001 as part of TF 473, OP Héraclès
and returned in july 2002
it actually met up with roosevelt, stennis and garibaldi
four carriers in one fleet?
