the red dagger on the black background is RM
Wrong. The red dagger worn on the wooly pully (or left sleeve of the CS 95 shirt) means Commando trained Army or RAF personell (the RN have a different flash again).
The dagger on a square patch worn on the right arm is the Brigade flash of 3 Cdo Bde.
and you can just about read the shoulder patches.
The shoulder flashes do indicate a Royal Marine.
